Good morning everyone. I hate to start this morning off with some rough news, but everyone please keep the Princeton Tiger football team in your prayers. I do not have all of the details and I will not mention a name, but one of their players was in a pretty bad ATV accident and apparently it is not the best of situations right now. Living in Princeton now, I know the community, school, players, and family of the injured player could really use some good vibes and prayers sent their way.

I don't see a school from WV beating the Beavers this year. Graham, Richlands, and Lord Botetourt have the best chances to win against the Beavers but still it will be tough. Hearing that the defense should be scary good this year. They have a pretty good shot of going back to back even with the Mookie and Truck now gone. I have said it before and I will say it again, Bluefield doesn't rebuild, they reload.

On the eve of one of the best days of the year, there is excitement in the air. I know we're still a few weeks away from Game Day, but I believe now is as good a time as any to get our Top 10 lists rolling(unless the mods had other plans, or anyone really objects).
If no one objects, I wouldn't mind keeping tabs on the sites' list throughout the season, as tallied by the votes of all members. If everyone is ok with this, we can give this preseason list a deadline of 11:59 pm on Sunday 8/19, with the final results being posted on Monday morning, 8/20, the final Monday before Opening Week.
Voting can be done on a 1-10 scale. 1st place votes equal 10 pts, 2nd place equals 9 points, and so on. Be really brave and make your list now with no changes, or change as many times as your heart desires, by the deadline. No need to add another post, just edit your initial post. After Opening Week, we can keep the deadlines on each following Sunday night at 11:59 pm, with the new weekly list being posted on Monday mornings, following the previous week's games. Each week's list will be a seperate thread, thru the end of the regular season, so not to cause any confusion.

If anyone is interested, multiple Graham/Beaver games have been uploaded on YouTube the past couple of weeks. The most recent was the game in 2005, the first game after Coach Carlock passed. One of the more intense and passionately played games I have watched that have been uploaded so far.

Believe what you want to but Graham was never going to play more than one game in Tazewell this year!

I 2nd this. VHS @ Ernie, 2013, is one of my all-time favorites, even in a loss for the Bearcats.
1 week after VHS pulls the monumental upset at Gretna, they roll into Richlands (for the 2nd time in a matter of weeks) with a ton of momentum. 
With a minute left to go in regulation, VHS has a 7 point lead and the ball at the Richlands 10 yd line. On 3rd & 8, the VHS 2000 yd RB is stopped short of the first down line. Instead of going down, and letting his team attempt the probable game winning FG, the team captain tries to fight for extra yards to put the game on ice himself, when the Richlands defender makes a spectacular play in ripping the ball free, and racing 90 yds for the tying score.
3 overtimes later, Richlands advances while VHS is left to wonder "What if?" That night had a Major College type atmosphere.

Graham @ Richlands 2007. Graham upsets Richlands at Ernie to end their 33 game regular season win streak.
Graham/Beaver 2008. Graham holds Bluefield at the one yard line to win the game in probably one of the most controversial moments in the history of the rivalry.
Graham/Beaver 2017. Bluefield holds Graham at the one yard line to win the game.
Any game at Ernie when Richlands is in the playoffs. Even as a Graham grad, the atmosphere is always awesome.
