I'm probably in the minority, but I am happy it's still a 32 team bracket state wide.  Though I can see why a lot of people don't like it because it was pointed out somewhere that 6A Region B only has 8 teams, which means all the teams in that region are in the playoffs before a snap even takes place.
What I don't like is the cross bracketing at the final 8.  I think you should have a regional champion.  Plus it sounds like the cross bracketing will rotate, so even though C/D play each other this year, I guess the next two years, C/D will go to A or B.

UVA Wise/Emory & Henry - should happen every year. How these schools let this series get cancelled is a mind blower from a financial stand point. 
JIB/Wise Central - Great historical rivalry. Norton and Wise will always be a heated contest. 
 

How about Wise Central and JIB. I think it is the absolute BIGGEST load of crap that they haven't played in years! Only post consolidation rivalry that could continue. 

I'll be the first to admit that Ernie Hicks needs an upgrade on the visitor side. 
One of my all time favorites was Ralph Cummins Stadium. That place during a big game was right up there with those already mentioned. 
Ernie Hicks and Mitchell are 1 and 2 for me. A big game at either place is hard to beat.

I refuse to believe that one year of good coaching and playing against better competition (deep playoff competition) really improves a players stock. I just don't see it. If you're a stud then you're a stud, plain and simple.
 
I completely understand moving to a school with a better program, but it needs to be done before high school. Once you make a commitment, own it.

Didn't some GC fans say that wouldn't happen earlier this year.... lololol

I'm really not going to get into an argument with you over this but Dickenson picked their colors and mascot before Wise picked theirs, even though Wise broke ground on their schools first. But don't take my word for it, I just lived in the county, am friends with teachers at the school/schools, am friends with people who were attending the schools at that time and know school board members.  
The kids may have latched on to the name later but Wolfpack was the favorite from the very beginning and not because of the movie

I went to school with a guy named Mark Blankenship who ate a packed lunch everyday. He never missed a day of school either. Our senior year he received his perfect attendance award and they announced his packed lunch record too. Some of our buddies would try to hide it so he'd buy lunch, but he never broke. I always had a packed lunch of PB and grape jelly up until high school. I never packed lunch again. We never got chocolate milk during elementary but at the high school, you could buy 3 or 4 if you wanted to.

The world doesn't revolve around Richlands football. I get that. We sure do enjoy it down here in Tazewell County, but it's not the world. Can you say the same thing about Union? 'Cause I'm pretty sure every time anyone says something negative about Union, you get your panties in a wad and get in a pissing contest, using language that doesn't belong on this forum.

On those rare "special occasions" that I do shave, I use a Trac II that I got before I went to college (about 32 years ago) and Edge.  Most of the time, I just use a trimmer with a #1 guard to "clean it up".

Okay guys, I'm done with commenting on this thread.  I'm sure LittleBoy will provide many other opportunities by showing his immaturity.  I wanted to see how long our "last word cowboy" would actually take this, and after he abandoned his effort for over a week, only to come back so he could have the last word thinking no one would notice, I should have recognized his troll obsession.  Obviously LittleBoy has issues.  In his words, he has a "deeply obsession" with having the last word, so I'll leave him to his own obsessive devices.  It was fun watching him stumble and grovel, but enough is enough.
