Every community has them. TW's is the loudmouth screaming "So they do have flags?" after we get a penalty. Hun it's 28-0,looking like it's going to be much worse. Flags aren't going to matter:). She'll be the one saying the refs screwed them in a 62-6 game (rolls eyes).. Fifth grade? Best 3 years of her life.

Appears Graham game is in fact cancelled on the 1st with GW.  Maybe Bluefield will play on the 1st, so Graham and GW could play on the 8th as others have stated.

WOW  !   That's too much credit to the Red Team .  They are far from that right now but by playoff time they could be pretty good . They need to stay healthy . A lot can happen in a season . I know most coaches run what fits their kids but why don't other teams run the same thing ? SD runs a lot of the same stuff and they are tuff .

GW had one kid test positive at an outdoor dance so all kids have to quarantine who were at the dance! Dumb!!!

The sweetest thing about that 2011 Clintwood team and the 2012 GW team was the following week, they both went east with huge fan turnouts to semifinal games after a week of internet chatter about how we had zero chance and came away with wins.
To sweeten the pot, 2011 Galax and 2012 Honaker also took care of business at home in the semis, and we had two years of nothing but west representatives in the 1A title game. 
Giles stole the show in 2013 with a 2A championship to boot.
Absolutely my favorite stretch of time as a high school football fan.  

This is correct. GW and Clintwood met in 2011 and 2012 in the quarterfinals as the west 2 and 3 seeds and split the series. The winner each of those years went on to win state titles.
