Wow you don’t like 43 here huh.  I assumed he transferred from your school before and now I’m about certain.  Can’t figure out why you are so pumped about his post Crabtree.  

I apologized and you are bleeding about the butt still.  I thought you was Crabtree and didn’t mind my friends here in the great city knowing it.  I will advise them they were wrong as well.  Good luck with that bleeding.  

I really do have this question of why the trashing of this kid? I work with some lee county people who think the kid is top notch off the field. They did not like the fact he transferred but even they root for him.  Help me understand this jonah58 and who?

9 times out of 10 we don't get this result. I think this loss will be one of those that light a fire under their asses and it won't happen again.

Been reading some of this and wanted to chime in.  Polier is not in the same league and shouldn't be used in the same breath in statement when comparing him to Adkins at Running Back.  For anyone who thinks so, you can't possibly know much about talent at the next level  Adkins was running with 11 player knowing he was getting the ball and he still performed.  The kid is a freak of nature.  You could see the cuts, the hip strength and fast twitch, and his ability to make people miss.  For anyone who thinks those two are even close in comparison as a RB, you are wrong.  Now, as a overall High School Football player?  That's a whole other conversation.  Polier is a beast.  Defensively, he's light years ahead of Adkins.  Adkins is EXACTLY as he is ranked by the recruiting services at RB.  He's a major Power 5 Div 1 RB and he's a stud.  He will also start at the next level and do well.  
He was the Ridgeview offense. As for Polier, I think he ends up getting an offer from some Power 5 school at LB and he will end up starting for that team.  Sometimes, being an incredibly gifted football players can close the gap some on the athletic part of the equation.  This will be the case with Polier.

Union wore down the RV defense, that was their game plan and it worked perfectly. RV has a small and inexperienced D-Line and it showed. Gotta give credit to the Union front seven too, they played tough. Overall this was a terrific game and hopefully we see the sequel in the playoffs at some point. However I have seen a lot of Adkins slander on this board today, and some saying Polier is better. I will say this, 43 has been the best two way player in the Conference since Mitchell graduated. And he’s probably the best two way player in the Region this year. He should be a D1 linebacker. Having said this, offensively, give me Adkins. I would like to remind everyone that 43 got almost 10 more carries than him last night which is a crime. Also, people have short term memory as they forgot what happened the first play from scrimmage. Unions game plan was to keep him off the field, and it worked. The time of possession difference was insane. Players like these two don’t come around often in this area so let’s just appreciate them instead of slandering either. 

Let's just say that Polier is the best COMPLETE player in the region hands down. The young man does it all. You could tell him they were going to cancel the game due to flooding and he'd grab a shovel and dig drainage ditches and drive the bus to get to the park:)

It's all good. We know he's secretly a Bear fan. Going to send him some Turner Salve and Bostic Balm to counteract that Mance cream. 😂

Easy to say Pollier is the best back in SWVA. Hands down.

He needs to cut out the getting the flags, heck he’s good for 40 -50 yd a game. Nonsense

Polier and his cousin Satterfield are transfers from lee county.  Polier is a Satterfield (his mom was).  Same bunch. Satterfield’s dad was a stud and his brother was a good lineman in the early 90s. My coworker went to school with them all.  

If they stayed for that mess I doubt they’d leave now.

You left out the best one: Gabe Fiser from Grundy. He's going for his 4th straight state title. Kid is a beast.

Polier from Union. If I misspelled his name I apologize. Raley and Wimmer from Graham. Richlands will return a 220 that should do well. Graham will have several from football to wrestle. The two mentioned above are the only two that start in football that will be wrestling. Although there are several from the team that will be wrestling. 
I'd love to see the Kastner kid from Graham wrestle. He has what it takes. I'm sure basketball will get several of them.

Graham came out ready to play today. They certainly didn't look like they were playing for 2nd place, oh wait, East Rock lost. GMen will be ready again next week. It should be a close one but I'm taking Graham for the win. Their defense is lights out! Offense worked well today and was patient. Took 6 minutes for first TD and that was great!  They played smart & hard.  I see them playing smart and hard next week and able to make adjustments when needed.
