Giles does not commit many penalties.  However, this stat was more about Appy's lack of discipline, in all likelihood, costing them the game.

Not gonna lie...I take my vehicles back to the dealership to have them serviced/worked on.  1) Wife's vehicle is an Audi and there aren't too many folks around here that will work on them...or even change the oil...plus she bought the Audi care which covers all normal maintenance; 2)  I too got a great warranty on my Acura (10 year/200,000 miles through the dealer), I'd prefer that if anything ever goes wrong, they will have been the only ones working on it.; 3)  The dealerships are equipped to handle any issue your car may have, plus, if they mess it up, they can fix it on their dime, whereas, if I dicked something up, it would cost me.
 
Yes, its a bit of a pain in the butt to have to take both vehicles to Roanoke but its worth it in my opinion...Duncan Acura/Audi...ask for Scott or Jim!!!

using my grandparents mustard pickle recipe. These pickles were a staple at every Sunday-after-church lunch and every Thanksgiving/Christmas/Easter dinner during the first 23 years of my life. This recipe hasn't been made since my grandparents both passed away in the early 90s. My wife was making some pickles this week and I reminisced about the pickles I ate as a young boy. I asked my mom if she had the recipe and she found it in my grandmother's old recipe box. Can't wait to crack open the first jar and take a step back in time!!!

Steady improvement last night but I still sucked ass...133-160-194 - 487. Now that I have four weeks under my belt, I'm "starting" the season with a whopping 168 average, down 19 from what I finished with last season and 32 from what I finished the season before that.

I just about fell out of my chair when I watched this!!!

Spring gobbler season started in WV last week. My FIL went several days only saw a few hens and heard very few gobblers. I went on Friday and the gobblers were sounding off early (6:45-7:30) but I never saw a bird all day long.
 
Yesterday, my FIL went out for a few hours and three big gobblers came strutting his way. He dropped one with a 10" beard...sorry I don't have a pic available. Said the other two had beards just as long.

First game was either strike or open...chalk it up to both unfamiliar equipment and not having bowled since last May.
 
Second game had more strikes and a few spares, less opens.
 
Last game was clean five strikes/six spares (all were 10-pin leaves...6 for 6. Actually only missed one 10-pin all night, the first one I threw at in the first game.
 
New ball (RotoGrip Berserk) is going to be good when I learn how it is going to react under different conditions. With its hybrid coverstock, it seems to be very smooth in the midlane and very continuous on the backend and through the pocket...strong enough to move in the oil but smooth enough not to make any sudden jumps of the dry boards.
 
UVAO has found himself a permanent spot in this league too.

Would like to know how Graham is "the favorite"...they are the #12 seed, they play AT Richlands, and they've already lost to Richlands once this season.  That does not equal "favorite"...

Wayne is the two-time defending state champs, won 32-straight games, and beaten Bluefield the last two meetings by a combined score of 99-17. Why wouldn't people be picking Wayne and Wayne by a lot, especially those that haven't seen Beaver play this season? Bluefield will taking the field on Friday night with not only the #1 playoff seed on the line, but the pride and respect they have lost in recent match-ups with Wayne. Predictions are meaningless with the two teams little more than 48 hours from strapping it on and going head-to-head. It's time for this current group of Beavers to earn their respect and doing so starts Friday. You cannot live on the past when you weren't a part of the past successes; you have to play your way into the tradition and leave your legacy.
