You only get so many guaranteed games in high school and ducking a team an losing a game to me isn’t worth it! U don’t get better by beating soft teams! GW could have played graham Saturday from what I’ve been hearing and they chose not to!! Even with a loss they still will make the playoffs! Kudos to Galax for going out 7 players down and playing! That’s how you get better! Not sitting around for a month and doing nothing like GW will be doing!! Iron  sharpens iron!!!

Idk what’s going on behind the scenes but how I see it is not playing this game will help GW in points if they find an opponent next week that they can beat. Graham is a very physical team and I’m sure any team other than Galax in 1C or 1D would avoid them at all cost. I hate it for Graham because this is going to hurt them. Hopefully they can find someone. Giles has been fortunate to not have to cancel any games this season or else we would likely be playing Graham this week since it’s our bye week. 

You'd think they would play Page, esp. since it is (WAS to be) Homecoming, and FFT to Monroe, right????

GW had one kid test positive at an outdoor dance so all kids have to quarantine who were at the dance! Dumb!!!

Wait a measly 2A team somehow stayed within 18 points and actually led at half time against Riverheads? This has to be a mistake, I think you got a 2 and a 6 mixed up or maybe left off a 0 for RHS. 

True...then the other 5% stay thru halftime the watch their kid perform then immediately leave and couldn't care less about the game.....ive witnessed this many times....those 95% do other things during halftime like restroom,get something to eat or just stand around shooting the bull with buddies

Picking up your future opponents early if they are both open due to opponent quarantines is a smart approach.  Get each game in as soon as you can, while you aren't quarantined yourself.

Please cite your sources, or please excuse yourself from this discussion.  I could write that eating a pound of crack has been shown to prevent an increase in COVID symptoms and provides full immunity the second it hits your lips.*  It doesn't make it so.
