What about a secretary, janitor, shrink (psychiatrist), collar (priest), mailman, or carney (carnival worker) or a person with a degree in culinary arts known as a "cook."
None of the above set well either. Interestingly, most police officers seem cool or ok with being referred to as a cop. Prison guard definitely doesn't go over well with corrections officers. That's a tough job and wears on people mentally, emotionally because they are dealing with people everyday with the intent on zapping them emotionally, mentally, and sometimes physically.

I'm just a lousy X-Ray tech, but call someone who works in corrections a "prison guard" and see how that works out for you.

I used to catch some in practice for his uncle back in the 80’s. Mike was drafted by the Expos and played in the Twins organization. 

He sure was a dominant hurler back in the day.

I knew Brock and his family well. He’s a Fries native, as am I. Brock’s dad is the head girls basketball coach at Grayson County. His sister is in administration at Galax.

WISE COUNTY STRONG! What a day! TWO state champions today. It reminds me of the old LPD days when PV would bring the 2 and Appy the 1 home.

if there was a better BB game to watch tonight as good as the Abingdon vs Turner Ashby girls I want to watch it,

The boys were at least competitive in their games. The M7 and SWD are close most years. The M7 has DOMINATED the entire state in girls:) Central got hosed by the VCU medical staff one year but have won what 7? GC has won 2 and RV has also won state titles.

I know at JJK Robin would schedule them for the great competition they'd have.

And change up the style of play. Losing Reyshawn is a huge blow tho and I don’t know how’ll they replace him. With such a guard heavy team, why is Union playing games in the 40s? They should be pushing the pace and get more easy shots to make up for the half court deficiencies 

He's literally been 2 ft from the 3 pt line several times, team has been arguing with refs....no warnings at all,

Battle lost a close one and then beat VHS the second time.

We are a team full of guards.  Have no size whatsoever.  Tallest player this year was possibly 5'4.  It's difficult to win in the toughest district in the state when you are getting outsized by 4-5 inches every game.  
We did win 5 games this season though, so there has been some progress.

Lee beat Virginia High pretty easily last season.  That was our only win of the year.

WHY are the officials in this Union-VHS girls game allowing this screaming  HC at VHS to be constantly on the court in the field of play? Not even a warning.

It’s almost like that’s apart of their culture. The kids are literally the same way. #2 can constantly be heard and seen saying the f word to the other team and fans. (Didn’t realize everyone was talking about the girls I meant boys).

He has to be better than a 12th man on some NBA roster....just has to be....plus think of the jerseys that team would sell for their 12th man....he needs to be on an NBA roster somewhere 

Never in a million years about 7 years ago would I have considered Mac would have become so popular that one day, Shaq would don a Devils Jersey and have Mac dunk over him. This is when you know.....Mac has made it, regardless of whether he plays a full season in an NBA jersey. He's made it in my opinion and hell be talked about in homes in SWVA 50 years from now for what he's done . Well done McClung!
