John Battle 4 maybe 2 baseball 2 volleyball, Holston won golf this year what else? PH has Women CC and Track. So that is all of 8 state championships for the entire county....

Got to love the school board in Lee County!!! New board, firing starts. Anyone know the financial situation for their schools down there. Since they seem to fire their coaches, do these coaches lose their teaching positions or are they forced to try and make new positions for people that the new board wants to hire?

Would guess that those are their practice helmets. I would say their game helmets are already prepared. Since Carlock was there Graham always had game and practice helmets and cleats.

Not been much of a rivalry for a while......

"The last good album U2 did was "The Unforgettable Fire". Their first three albums (Boy, October, War) were excellent...raw, emotional, and true to the heart music/lyrics. "The Unforgettable Fire" showed signs of the same but also was the beginning of the "commercial sellout". Everything from "The Joshua Tree" to now has been pure commercial trash...maybe the Live Aid thing was the beginning of the end. The only song they've done since then that I liked is "Beautiful Day"" When I read this I pictured the guy from American Psycho talking about Huey Lewis or Whitney Houston.
