They are very capable of winning 7 games and climbing into the 4 seed for the playoffs. I'm giving home field advantage being the difference in this one. It will be a good game between 2 good football teams. JSB 34 RV
swva_havok_fan 1,261 Report Share Posted October 8, 2017 Off week came at a good time for us. Wished Mullins would have still been in the Central lineup when Battle played them Friday night, so there could be a comparison because you can't deny they're an entirely different team without him under center. We beat them with Mullins under center soundly. Battle beat them without him under center soundly. I'm going with the Pack in a close one. CriticalNoise 182 Report Share Posted October 8, 2017 I think if McKenzie Sproles shows out like he did against Lee High the pack wins by a TD

BigWinners 1,643 Report Share Posted October 9, 2017 If it was at RV, I'd pick the Pack. At Battle, I'd take the Trojans in a close game.
Widespread_Panic 197 Report Share Posted October 9, 2017 I'd go Ridgeview on this one. Battle has got their wins off a really weak schedule of Holston, PH, Wise Central, and Lebanon. Rick Mullins with an extra week to prepare gives the Wolfpack the edge. swva_havok_fan
Battleborn 16 Author Report Share Posted October 11, 2017 Is ridgeview primarly a run team or do they throw it around? I remember a wide reciever from last year that was very good im not sure if he graduated or not but if he didint i couldent see them not getting him the ball as much as possible

They run more than they throw, or at least AFAIK.

Sproles and Adkins are the backs and either are capable of taking it to the house on carries or special teams. At receiver they still have Hensley and Counts as well as Carroll from last year, although Carroll didn't have his coming out party till after the Battle game last year. Against Grundy last year he had 4 TD's receiving. QB is still Mullins. We pretty much have everyone back from last year with just the Freshman Adkins added to the mix, just more of a mixed bag in the play calling department. Grapeape 259 Report Share Posted October 13, 2017 It will be a blowout no one saw coming vis-a`-vis Virginia / Graham, just with a better outcome for the Bristol boys. Battle 45 Ridgeview

Warriors_XO 214 Report Share Posted October 13, 2017 Ridgeview will be disciplined enough and have enough speed to shut down Scarborough. You shut him down, game over.
Mountain7_Bear 2 Report Share Posted October 13, 2017 I think it'll be a lot closer game than 45-7. I think it could go either way. I'm going with Ridgeview in a close one 27-
Union_Fan 2,155 Report Share Posted October 13, 2017 If I weren't going to Union/Central, I'd be going to this one. I think it's a toss-up. I think Ridgeview pulls it out though.
jarhead24219 440 Report Share Posted October 13, 2017 Ridgeview has faced Union, Battle has not , so I think Ridgeviews D shuts down the QB , Coach Mullins will have the plan, and special teams make the difference RV 27JSB
bristol8434 15 Report Share Posted October 13, 2017 Battle has faced Abingdon and Va High, was leading at Abingdon until injuries bit them in the second half. I'll say Battle wins tonight 35-20 another big night for the Trojans O

I'll say Battle wins tonight 35-20 another big night for the Trojans after last night I don’t think using Virginia high as a measuring stick is a great idea. Especially since battle lost to them by 21 points

fb-fan24263 12 Report Share Posted October 13, 2017 Not got to see Battle yet but I'll take the pack 21 to 13. Sproles should be the one to make the difference for the pack.
