You got to see their masterpiece. The best defensive performance in Union history IMO. It was maybe the best defensive game I've seen a team play in a long time.
I was confused on years, Kastner and Edwards were the LBs in 2018, but wasn't there a Vineyard or something similar that was an absolute stud at LB for Graham recently?
Dante Vineyard, yep I had forgotten about him. Dante was an excellent LB. He played some in college if I'm not mistaken.
Don’t tell some of these guys that.. Bluefield is a “top 4 team” that could play in a state championship. Bluefield is down this year and probably won’t even make the playoffs.
I'll be the first to admit that I thought Bluefield would be a tough team to beat. I based my opinion on the Graham game. Unfortunately for them they ayed their best game of the year in August. So yes I'm here to eat my serving of crow. I'd like some A1 sauce to go with it if that's ok.
With this new format it's about impossible to get a DM on your phone. As soon as you get on the page the DM will pop up at the bottom of the screen if you don't click on it immediately it's gone. Once you are in you can go back and look at the other messages. I just leave that tab open. Laptop may be different I don't know.

Let's not forget that Tarter stepped up when Coach Happy Feet hauled a@! out of town. Contrary to what the Blue Neck Nation wants to believe Richlands wasn't overloaded with talent when he took the job but he took it anyway. With that said one of the individuals mentioned above in an earlier post is nothing more than an arrogant sawed off piss complected puddle of puke that deserves every single bit of pissed off mom rage that comes his way.
Actually this is completely inaccurate and I’m sure it’s come from the select few that run things at Richlands. He was never groomed to be a QB, he was put in that position by coaches. He then was tore down by those same coaches. He asked multiple times to watch film with the OC or the head coach, neither would ever do that one on one. He was told by the head coach that he was going to work with him one on one back in the spring. He never did. He spent 6-8 hours at the field house most days in the summer and came for them trying to recruit on Sundays. Then they didn’t commit to actually keeping him in as QB for any consecutive games. Kalib asked them to move him to a different position at least 3 different times bc he loves the game. Let’s not even touch all the Daddyball. I’m tired of grown men bullying children. It’s freaking high school football not the NFL, they know about these boards and read the crap that’s posted.

Two of GW's starters played little league football with this group of Graham kids. This game is like cousins getting to play against each other for the first time since MS. They each know what the other is capable of and bragging rights will be on the line. I can assure you these kids are not overlooking this game. GW is solid.
Everyone complains about the coaching but some only point it out as Union folks. When I first came to this board all I ever heard was complaining about Graham’s coaching about 4-5 years ago

I'm going to quote your post from a year ago to show your own ignorance and how you have pretty much proved my current point. "We got 6 sophomores playing on both sides of the ball this year and sometimes 7. We are going to be better for sure. Again, I told you this awhile back, the weight room is where the most improvement can come. Sophomores are not fully physically mature yet. They usually have much more physical growth from the start of their sophomore years and on through summer by the time they are juniors. I said at the beginning of the year We will play for the region and lose to Galax closer than than game one was. What is your recommendation to fix Giles? Several of the Union guys on here have taken heat for complaining about their coaching staff. Not gonna lie I've given them a little grief myself. But.........they have made some very valid points about personnel, play calling, etc. Maybe you have mentioned it and I haven't seen it. To me before you talk trash about a coaching staff i ask myself who on the sideline or on the field already would do a better job than the person currently there. Most of the time the answer is nobody.
He didn't say they would win the region. Thats the only post that I recall anyone saying that Tazewell would win district and/or region. If someone mentioned it in preseason I don't recall it. Technically @GMan isn't a Tazewell guy either that I know of.
Actually, this isn’t true at all. Go back and read the thread. Most Tazewell posters said they were hopeful they could keep it close but the only person that actually claimed a win for Tazewell was @GMan
Honestly, I thinkthis is the year that Tazewell finally punches every other SWD team intheface, that includes you too Richlands. I think they will beatGraham in a close game, and win the district.
I hope the kids from Riverheads and other schools don't find out about these cells phones or social media of football will just be doomed hahahaha
Are you saying the cell phones and social media are to blame for the lack of success at Giles? If so, wouldn't that be on the kids/parents and not the coaching staff?
