I think anyone in that 4-10 range can beat anyone else in that range. Marion looked awful against Northwood but the week before they played respectable against a decent Wise team and a week later almost beat a Gate City team that beat Abingdon. Maybe it’s better to tier them

that said if you tell me come Election Day that Richlands finished 2nd in the SWD I wouldn’t be surprised. I also wouldn’t be surprised if they go 1-9 and match their TD (4) performance against GC over the 2nd half of the season.

The issue is copyright protected songs that could be overheard. There is a workaround though. Music recorded prior to 1922 is not protected, so stadiums could play early jazz or opera without consequence.  

Finger pointing and blaming coaches for lack of talent is story book Richlands. At some point, everyone has to come to peace with the fact that kids are doing their best and the skill level and capability of the players is what it is. There’s not a coach in this world that could do better with this team. That is just straight up facts. 

I think the QB+WR duo at Ridgeview is better than Tazewell’s. 

Why not a Region D All-Star against Region C All-Star? That would be some great talent.

Bluefield has the best broadcasts from what I’ve seen on You Tube.  Plus their play by play guy sounds like someone who could work a a big network. Very professional sounding. 

I know I'm asking for a lot here but can we get some t-shirts, a charter bus, trophy and a parade thrown in the deal too? I'm not sure we can get the Tazewell kids to play without it.😂

Richlands defense was decent against Graham all things considered. The offense has Brown, that’s really it. Richlands offense is weak. They just don’t have the talent or depth and it’s a hard season regardless of the coach. Tarter will probably take a lot of heat this season but I think he’s probably doing the best he can with the hand he’s been dealt.  If Abingdon has a decent offense with even a mediocre defense, they win.  I could be totally off base, I guess we’ll see. 

Just cause they beat Tazewell doesn’t mean they don’t suck 

I felt Tazewell was overhyped during the build up to the season and the early part of the season.  If you haven’t walked the walk in a while it’s best to couch the talk a bit.  Graham and Union folks were more humble and cautious collectively.  They were waiting to see if their Oline and defense were up to par before feeling overly confident.  It always comes down to those two areas.  It can’t all hinge on your QB or your WR.
