Hurley vs PM

My dear observer, you evidently didn't think your thoughts thru very well when you called someone "SNOWFLAKE" because if you did then you're a racist bigot, but I'm sure you didn't mean it to come out as racist. You really should take your meds regularly !!

A lesson in racism from a fan of a school who liberally makes use of the Confederate flag.

Congratulations Parry Mclure good hard fought game..Really nice the way all the kids got together prayed after the game I hope all you PM fans left Hurley with a positive attitude about our community. Congratulations to the Hurley kids and coaches on a great season.

Seconded on congratulating Hurley on an outstanding season. Not a thing to hang your heads about.

Nothing but respect from me, and I hope this is the birth of a long standing run for the Rebs.

Great game, hard fought all the way through. Imo it came down to adjustments, PM made them after halftime and Hurley didn't .

Nelson was impressive, big strong and quick enough. If PM had ANY passing game they would be incredibly dangerous, that's the only

Shortcoming that I saw.

The prayer after the game was good to see, things were getting VERY chippy at the end of the game, lots of personal fouls

Several of you have been Talking about Hurley's weak schedule. Hurley should start now trying to schedule Tazewell, Lebanon, and Pikeville for the next scheduling cycle. That would give them two 2A schools and a tough 1A school. Tazewell and Lebanon could be tougher in two years and Pikeville is usually good ever year. Look for Richlands to drop Grundy because they be a 1A school.

That's already happened. No Grundy or Central next year.

Nope, can't schedule Pikeville, too hard. Gotta renew that contract with Possum Scat Hollow, KY.

Dude seriously?

Yes, seriously.

A lot of your "fans" deserve to hang their heads low after the crap that spewed forth from their imaginations this season. The pressure and expectations that a not insignificant number of you placed on that team were pathetic and shameful.

Like this garbage:

No butt hurt in Hurley, the butt hurt will come when Hurley starts kicking those Azzes.

And there's plenty more where that came from.

Haven't heard a peep from many of the usual suspects, and I can't blame them. I'd stay away too if I had to gag on a giant crow.

I hadn't posted anything to this point, because I have too much respect for the kids and the coaches, who must be heartbroken. But your loudmouths deserve to wallow. Oh, do they deserve it, and so much more.

I feel bad for the kids and the coaches, but I mean the coaches had to know it would happen. They seriously played not one good. Not even average team the whole year and they expect to roll over George Wythe and Galax? Come one now. Well, I guess that does not matter now because they didn't even make it by average joe last night. This is the prime example of what its like to not be battle tested. To bad Brady Justice couldn't come to Richlands.

Read a few posts from PM faithful on another site. According to them, two Hurley "fans" were arrested following the game for attacking their own players.

No idea if this is indeed true and i am not implying that it is. Given some stuff posted on this site this season by some Hurley "fans", it does seem plausible.

If there is any truth to those claims, those "fans" aren't doing anything but destroying the reputation of the very community they claim to love and support.

I don't have a user profile over there and never desired one. My fault for not looking through other posts of his before jumping over here. Seems like the guy is a keyboard hero.

Probably should review my own philosophy before repeating that process!

I was standing by the fence in front of the PM fans and I personally heard no cussing, just clean, excited trash talk like comes from every excited fan. Not saying it didn't happen, saying I didn't hear it.

I did see Buchannon Co officers escort a Hurley fan out of the stadium. He came up to the fence and was screaming at one of PMs coaches. Idk what it was over and he wasn't at the fence the whole game(not around me anyway), appeared to come down just to scream at the coach.

That's why I'm glad you can't get anywhere near the field at GW. And that the home and away stand are so far apart. But If you stand at the top on the hill you will hear ALOT of trash talk lol.

I love stands that are close to the field. The fence at Hurley is about 3 yards from the sideline, it's incredibly close(which was great) but the downside is idiots and they're everywhere.

And as far as Hurleys schedule, unless I'm mistaken graduation guts the Rebels, the schedule will not toughen up

I believe I stated I was not a great fan of local football, in fact I live within walking distance of the "Cliff" and I have not attended not even one game.  So I don't know where observer came up with me being a fan !  Like I said before he should take his meds regularly !  As for the flag being a symbol of racism he should take a course in history, the Confederate battle flag is does not represent racism except in his own mind.  Observer can argue all he wants, after all seems I remember someone saying he was a lawyer and probably not a very good one either.
