Leatherhead Larry 530 Report Share Posted December 21, 2016 Congrats to this young man. Always great to see locals making it to the D1 stage. Especially when they go to a P5 conference.
SXSW 557 Report Share Posted December 21, 2016 Congratulations and best of luck to him, I hope he has as much success as the last D1 player from Honaker had. Tiger_Tilt and Bigrhsfan

hhstigers7327 217 Report Share Posted December 22, 2016 Hey Ryan idk how much you have seen Jordan kick in live action but if you have seen him compared to what returns on the special teams what do you think his chances are getting the starting job? Ryan4VT 4,554 Report Share Posted December 22, 2016 Hey Ryan idk how much you have seen Jordan kick in live action but if you have seen him compared to what returns on the special teams what do you think his chances are getting the starting job? They'll redshirt him this year. Our kicker Joey Slye is a senior this coming year. So redshirt Jordan, let him get a year of college weight room under his belt, and then I believe he has the talent to be a 4 year starter at K and maybe even P. Ryan4VT 4,554 Report Share Posted December 22, 2016 Thanks! For some reason I thoughit Joey was a senior. Seems like he has been there forever! He has lol. He's been a 3 year starter, and will be a 4 year starter after it's all said and done. Stout will learn a lot from him. Joey's a good kid from every interaction I've had with him. He just can't make a FG past 40 yards. I think Jordan can compete with him there, but Syle is still the master of touchbacks on the kickoff. #1BLUESFAN 169 Report Share Posted December 28, 2016 If stout is redshirted will he still get to dress ever game..was wondering if it came down to a 50 yrd field goal to win a game and slye hasnt did very good at long fg's could they put stout in to kick it.i know that would burn his red shirt.do you see the hokies coaching staff doing that. Hokiebird7 1,416 Report Share Posted December 28, 2016 I don't think they would burn his red shirt that way unless slye was to get injured and they needed him for more than that one kick

87Tiger 62 Report Share Posted January 2, 2017 Jordan played in the O-D All-American Bowl at Kennesaw State University last Thursday. I had planned on going, since KSU is only 20-minutes from my house, but the wife had other plans for me :-). He was named the O-D special teams player of the year. I can't find anything on the outcome of the game. I really wish he picked UT, but it's great to see him going to another solid program.
