Looks like SWVA will get what they want. ;) Irishman

Looks like SWVA will get what they want. Now Ryan what makes you think that?? LOL.....The rest of this state honestly believe it ends at Roanoke, sports included. Mance has been able to keep SWVA respectable in football for a while. When Carlock passed we lost not only a great person but a big voice and figure for all of us in SWVA. Mance stepping down will be a loss as well. mv91 and Ryan4VT
bgibb 207 Report Share Posted January 27, 2017 There is a difference between deserving an award and earning one. No doubt that Coach Mance earned this award. trublue 939 Report Share Posted January 27, 2017 Congrats Coach Mance. Very proud of our Richlands' coach, his impressive football record and recognition by the BHC for his dedication to a sport he truly loves and has dedicated many years and uncountable hours. blueinbama, tbgfan and Irishman

Hokiebird7 1,416 Report Share Posted January 28, 2017 They may want to find a coach that played in the single wing at giles but runs the spread Worked out good for them the last time they did that lol

SXSW 557 Report Share Posted February 13, 2017 I have no doubt that if Mance leaves Richlands, that the school will hire the best recruiter to replace him...just kidding. It is in reality a two edge sword, you hate to see him go but coach's burn out and you have to follow what your heart tells you to do. I also hate it for S.W. Va. because the coaching cupboard is kind of bare after Mance, he is the last in a long line great coaches from our area. Turner, Robbins, Colobro, Fry, Cummins, Carlock, men like these don't come along to often and we were blessed to have them overlap each other for all those years. If he does retire I wish him well, but if he doesn't I predict another top five recruiting class and top five finish in the state.
