Pioneer pride

Reeds last team at Abingdon wasn't great they went 6-4 and were knocked out round 1.  Reed had excellent  talent  in sturgill and co., Abingdon hasn't had that since. Reeds talented players made him, not the other way around.  I also think Colobro was instrumental  in that teams success. They were written off last season when Reed left, and Amburgey produced a good season. He's a good coach, their talent isn't the same. 

Such a darn shame.

Funny thing is, you got triggered initially over me asking a question  about a rumor I had heard. I only stated a fact that losing 3 starters was only going to hurt a already struggling team. Ive supported the bearcats because my nephew goes to Va High, and I go to his games to support what he does with the band. I'm sorry me stating that they were bad hurt your feelings.  Why get triggered over something  so insignificant??No wonder this country has issues. I feel sorry for you if something  that small bothers you I mean that's just sad. Its pathetic that I get ridiculed  for posting a question I heard over a rumor ?? I mean grow up. 

Lebanon  is so young but they are going to keep getting  better 13 plus freshman playing.

It's sad that you don't have better things to do honestly. 

I also don't think Central  is quite as good now, with the injuries they  have had. So that should be taken into consideration. A lot on here are saying the Pioneers go 0-10, however I think they steal 1 or 2, but who knows in could be wrong and if I am I will admit it. 

It’s easy to kick a team while it’s down.  Folks most teams here in far SW VA do have the lean years and with the declining population it will seem to be getting worse.  Just remember one day it is highly possible your team will be one in those lean times.

Congrats they earned it. I hope they do well the rest if the season. They found an excellent coach for their program, dont let him leave. Lebanon  has a lot of work to do to get the  program in a better place. Sometimes  you have to hit rock bottom  before you move forward. I will be cheering the blue devils on the rest of the way, I want all our Russell  County teams to do well.

You are wasting my time and aren't worth it. I'm going to keep predicting  VA High to get blown out now just to bother you.  For example  Abingdon 60 to 0. 
 
People pick lebanon to get blown out all the time and I'm not taking it personally. Its opinions and I'm not triggered by it but apparently  you are. 

Totally understand and I agree with you. 
I wish lebanon could pull the same type of upset JJ Kelly did to Powell Valley on 10-15-99, when their 34 game win streak came to an end in Wise. It would  be epic, but it won't happen with these Pioneers. Graham is going roll in this one. 

I hate it, but they will cruise Friday night. Lebanon has been improving  some but they aren't anywhere near that level this season. Maybe in a couple years it will be tougher. I'm just hoping Lebanon hangs tough, doesn't get too beat up and uses this game to improve before they play two winnable games against Castlewood  and  Virginia  High.
