Def need to get new coaches.  Got a good bunch of kids and they need to wipe the slate with the coaches.  The players even joke about the coaching

Central has all the talent in place to be a really solid team. However the coaching staff is a complete joke. I’m pretty sure the defensive coordinator gets his game plans from YouTube videos or the book, “defense for dummies”.  They need to wipe the slate clean and hire a new head coach. They make no adjustments, they are the laughing stock of coaching staffs. The program needs a complete overhaul. The play calling for the most part is atrocious. They can barely get a play sent in before the play clock runs out. I agree that they will be tough for the upcoming years but until they get a new coach I don’t see much change. And it hurts to think that. Just my opinion. Hands down the WORST coached team in the Mountain 7. These kids lost 1 game in 3 seasons at the 8th grade and JV level. Dominating other teams. Now they have coaches that can’t even muster up a simple defensive adjustment         Or call an offensive play to counter the defensive alignment. How about let the guy that has coached the JV take over? Couldn’t be any worse than the coaching we have now.

Don't have a problem with your sarcasm, just asking for the up to date version, if there is one.  The cleat deal seems like beating a dead horse to death so I would classify that dead sarcasm.  I'm an old an crusty Blues fan that doesn't mind the back and forth and love to hear from you Union fans, but please keep it in the realm of present time, not ancient history.  Thanks for responding, enjoy your post.

If true the two events are not connected and what you speak of is irrelevant. 

92.5 has been playing games also but not sure which game they're playing this week.  Seems like most weeks they've played Union games.

93.5 will have the Rye Cove @ JI Burton game.

I agree Central played better than I expected against  Lee.  Hard to predict But I go with GC in a close one

I really think GC is at least a touchdown better than Central, but I also thought Lee was a TD better than Central, so who knows. This game could be a barn burner.
I like GC, 35-28.
 

Bluefield would likely win the 2A title in VA this year by a couple scores, but the comparisons to a team like Greeneville were, optimstic, to say the least. 
 
A school with less than 700 kids is gonna have a hard time beating a school with 1500+ kids and takes their football seriously. 

4-7; 7-4; 3-7; 2-8; this year 1-6 so far

They should bring someone in before next yr.  Cut ties and move on
