Clements is the same situation as Jennings. Edward's has lived in the same place in Bluefield since at least 2017 when his brother Aaron played for Graham.

According to the VHSL website, STATE CHAMPIONSHIP tickets go on sale @ 6 pm tonight. Ticket sales are thru GoFan and there will be a link on the VHSL site.
 
Graham's Twitter account will also have the GoFan link up later today. Graham fans can purchase tickets ... cash only ... @ GHS now thru noon on December 8!
 
Chartered "pep" busses are available for GHS students only and will depart GHS @ 9:15 on Saturday morning.
 
Fortunately ... and for a change ... I only have a 15 minute drive from Roanoke City. Saturday's predicted Roanoke Valley weather forecast ... temperature of around 70 degrees with a 45% chance of rain at kickoff.

There are many options along I-81 or 460 to practice besides doing a behind the scenes deal to practice at the home team’s field without even running it by the home team’s head coach, Graham pays to use that facility. Princeton is a 10-15 minute drive from Comfort Inn.  I’m not 100% sure how much in the know the city employee that I spoke with is but he said Appo paid nothing. If that’s the case it’s even more of a bad look for the town of Bluefield, WV. Does Appo have the right to practice on Friday, absolutely! Should they have been afforded the opportunity to practice at Mitchell without Graham even being asked, my answer is a resounding no! But like I said, I’m petty. Lol! Appo took advantage of a situation out of Graham’s hands, kudos to them! Ultimately, won’t affect the outcome today, it’s just unheard of in my opinion. This needs to propel Bluefield, VA to build our own stadium & quit giving Bluefield, WV tens of thousands of dollars every year to use Mitchell.

That was very nice of Bluefield Wv to allow them to practice like that. I wonder if they allowed any of Bluefield's opponents the same opportunity for the same price? 
Appomattox Raiders you should feel very fortunate that the town allowed you to do that. They have stolen the crack out of our a!@ for years.

What has impressed me is Graham beating teams like Bluefield and Union only using a few plays in the playbook.  I think that is a testament to how well the lineplay has been lately.  

It’s seems to have improved this year. I now have 5G with sprint/T-mobile. I don’t know if they put up more towers or if it’s the 5G chip I got with my Covid Shot.

Because they have been terrible and we never received points for playing them because they never won. They look to be having a better season but that is TBD.

Vaccinated or not if you come in contact they are sending you home for quarantine. They're doing the same thing for teachers who are vaccinated. It will be tough to play but lets keep our fingers crossed.

At that rate, Graham High School should reach herd immunity by the weekend. Once again, I only play a doctor on a sports forum 😂. 

After the demolition derby this week at the Tazewell County Fair. I feel certain Tazewell and McDowell will reach herd immunity.

I agree!! People who get all worked up over simple post. Please act like you have been there before. Happy for the dawgs and glad to see they are doing well. Interesting to see the “come get some” phrase is making a comeback. One of my greatest memories is leaving Bluefield with a huge “come get some!” Scream after union upset them there in 2019. The look on those Graham fans faces were priceless. I know, I know Graham WAAAY more than paid us back in the playoff game that year. The McDonald’s nonsense that went on there was hilarious. I knew we were in trouble when I walked by some Graham players during warmups and they were singing the McDonald’s jingle, “da-da-da da!.” 
 
I’m so glad we have something other than Covid and Politics to discuss again. 

I’m 100% happy for them. Just seems a little to early in the season. I do understand the    point  but the deliver can be taken out of context.

As of now, girls championship at 6 and boys at 8.
But with the girls semifinals likely to get postponed tomorrow night, who knows?

Graham has good group of freshmen and sophomores. How well will they grow and develop? I guess only time will tell. Hitting the weight room is obviously going to need to be a priority. I think the offense may need to be tweaked just a little bit to fit the personnel. Curious to see how this group of kids develops.

I read on the other board that one of our good Ridgeview friends on this board is pulling for Appomattox, lol. I want to voice my support for Gate City, Union or Central to take the M7 next year😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂! If any of y’all three go on to play past Regionals, I’ll gladly cheer you on my compadres! #RegionDSticksTogether 
Go GMen! Let’s bring back that win to Region D for all of us!!!! 
 

If Graham plays next Saturday like they did today it will be a long ride back to Bluefield. Blocking on the offensive line and on special teams was lacking to say the least. When you get that many holding penalties someone is getting beat and chasing the play. 
With that said, how in this world does Kiser of all kids lose his cool and get ejected? Of all the kids on this team to get ejected I would have bet my next paycheck it wouldn't have been him!!!

As mentioned earlier, penalties and turnovers may turn things the other way.
The Raiders are already taking Graham seriously, their facebook page is urging people to come out and support them against a "truly tough adversary".  Graham had better bring their A game.
