For those who say Phil Robbins inherited a great program, I'm not sure that is completely true. He inherited some great players and should have won more titles than he did early on. However Appy was 12-9 vs P.V before Tom took over. After Tom took over they went and 6 - 19 - 1 vs P.V. Head to head Phil was 18 - 5 against Tom.
To quote Ric Flair "To be the man, You got to beat the man!".  That's why I wouldn't put Tom ahead of Phil.

An update on Aiden Buckingham from Facebook.

Just a quick update on Aiden, the tumor is out and the doctor feels he was able to completely remove it. We will have to wait for the pathology report to see if any further treatment is needed. His speech and memory is intact he is resting comfortably rating his pain a 3. He has been an excellent patient and has completely charmed the nurses and doctors . We can’t thank you enough for your prayers and support. Our God is an awesome God and all the praise and glory goes to Him!

don't really think it's an excuse, it will be a legit reason for lack of "moving the sticks"  but I don't think it would make a huge difference in the end.  He's 85.4% of their offense and 70% of their defense.  RV too much physicality and just as many athletes in space.  

Has VHS vastly improved since Graham brought half a team over and beat the living daylights out of them? If not, then expect this RV team to produce the same results. 

Ridgeview by as many as they want especially with no Jones.  offensive and defensive lines will dominate on both sides of the ball for Ridgeview.

I think the lost of Jones will be too much for the bearcats to overcome in this one. They were able to pull together and win last week but the backup QB just doesnt run the offense well. They were able to throw quick screens and go balls and win last week because they were just able to out athlete Lee. I do not see this being the case this week. The way Ridgeview runs to the football on defense will negate the speed of VA high and shut them down. I think the defense of the Bearcats has been a weak point most of the season so Ridgeview should be able to score at will and VA high will not have to fire power to keep up.

I see Ridgeview cruising to their rematch with the Gmen. 

Bearcat run about to come to an end I believe.  Hogo schedule no benefit this week.  Ridgeview looks to be hot at the right time.  Several times during the TAZ game looked like cat and mouse.  RV too physical up front and better speed on offense.  Hope the Jones kid heels quickly for Baseball.

Aiden is scheduled for surgery at 7 am Memphis time (8 am our time) tomorrow (Wednesday). It is a high risk and complicated surgery expected to take 3-8 hours. We need to pray specifically against loss of any function—speech or motor. Against bleeding, stroke, and seizures. Against it being malignant. Pray they get it all and no further treatments would be required.

Clearly......thinking a 7th seed 3rd place SWD team will come in an play with the top team from the M7. The only team that has a chance to beat RV is RV and Graham....and in that order. 
As far as QB comparison, wait till the RV and Graham game and compare stats between the two. Would like to see stats for both when paying quality opponents. Chucking TD's vs subpar defenses shouldn't win accolades.
