Sad news at the Ridge as it appears Hackney for RV goes down with a severe lower leg injury was stretched off the field.

Do not think a Stacy Carter coached team will  be unprepared for anything that can occur. The man routinely reviews defending the Emory and Henry spread during walk through's. If you know about the E&H spread, what Hardee's do you go to every morning for biscuits with the boys?

Are you saying that since we expect good sportsmanship on the field the same should apply in the stands?? That's an awful lot to ask for on a Friday night.

Maybe it is just an opportunity for everyone to learn how to behave?

It was Travis Wells grandfather.  Travis Wells sure wasnt the quietest feller on the football field. 

Cramping isnt always about a lack of conditioning.  It generally has more to do with the kids hydration and some just arent disciplined enough to stay away from things like energy drinks that hurt their hydration.

If ya'll want to see a finish. Flip over to NFHS and watch Central of Woodstock vs Riverheads in the final 1.5 minutes.  Central is down 7-0 and has the ball at their own 16 yard line.  Central drives the length of the field in about 1.5 minutes and scores to make it 7 to 6 with under 10 seconds left in the game.  Central is going to kick the extra point and take it to overtime, right?  Nope, the Sons of Bitches go for 2 and the get it!!  Won it 8-7

Aaron Lowe recruited his kids buddies. His middle school kids buddies. By the time they reach the high school level,  he should have enough people brainwashed and will have control of football and girls basketball. The argument can definitely be made that Hackney wasn't used to his potential as a ball carrier but RV needed a H-Back that could catch, and Gabe fit the bill perfectly. Imo his time at H-Back helped make him a complete Back now. The kid can do anything they need and they're gonna need him to protect and lead for O'Quinn 

If you watched the fight, he 100% beat Hager. Bullshit decision. 
 
Jake Hager is a former pro wrestler, Jack Swagger. 

Yes he was in the film I have seen.  His brother Brandon is more my age and played at ETSU and had a shot in minicamp with the Steelers I believe.  He is on staff with Union again this year I think.   Hes more nationally known for his MMA career and almost beating Jake Hager a couple of years ago.

I can't tell you what my favorite thing about the NFHS Network is...
Is it the fact that despite paying for it, I have to see the same ad every time I bounce between games.
Or is it that most places can't even get their equipment to work. 
Or maybe the fact that there was just some random kid by himself roaming the field in Saltville..

Then came the two years Rye Cove was forced into D2 with an ADM of like 198 I think it was.  I believe also in basketball one year in the old system Nelson County won 1A and was larger than both Gate City and GW who played in the D2 finals.

Come to think of it, I think during Richlands latter glory years, we benefited from reclassification from Division 4 to 3, which was a rightful move in my opinion.
 
The old divisional system was a travesty that strongly favored more populated areas. Riverheads won the Division 1 state title while having a greater enrollment than both Division 2 finalists, Honaker and King William in the old system.
