Very possible but Essex will be that side of the states representative in Salem. Yeah you can't count RH out but Essex is a completely different type of beast this year. Yeah whoever wins from GW vs Grundy is probably going to Salem for second best. But if we win I'll be there no matter what.

Lebanon does have more weapons, but when the field is a mud bog it doesn’t matter. That field is truly an embarrassment and borderline unsafe between the poor lighting and the swamp like footing/rocks.

Folks traveling to Ridgeview will be upset at the quality of the hot dogs at the concession (my prediction).

I'll post any Grundy/Central updats as i can, figured I'd watch the game since i had to go walmart anyways lol.

Most of you entered your last year knowing this wasn't going to be a championship season. In reality, you knew the victories and celebrations, would be few. But you still gave all you had. I truly respect your hard work, blood, sweat, tears, and dedication. Most of you were just nameless, faceless, numbers on a jersey. So to the handful of you I know, and the hundreds of others I had the pleasure of watching, thanks again for giving this old high school football junkie another enjoyable season. You will remember these days as some of the best of your life.  

I haven’t been to one ridgeview game this year but I’ve heard every Saturday morning how awful the environment is.  I’m only going to address the coaching situation from last year.  Whoever WolfpackGhost is get the heck out of here with your BS knowledge.  Tiller and Edwards did accept other jobs AFTER the fact they both was told they wouldn’t have jobs at Ridgeview this year. An anonymous letter got Tiller out the door that had no proof to it. Edwards met with Dewayne Stanley after he was named the head coach who said he wouldn’t have no say so on offense….how’s that working out for you? Y’all have a winning season but that locker room has no respect for one another. When the head coach and son argue ALL the time it doesn’t set a good tone at all for this program. These kids have NO respect for the bobbsey twins.  I feel sorry for the kids because they didn’t and don’t deserve any of this. The leadership at Dickenson County schools are just horrible, not good people at all. 

Seems as if Bluefield has this one wrapped up.  Ridgeview has been as unimpressive as an 8-0 team can be.  IMO the coaching is lackluster.  Two guys trying to call plays on offensive.  No sideline discipline.  No real in game or half time adjustments.  Clock management doesn’t exist.  When a kid makes a mistake does not seem to be coached up.  I watched a kids have 3 false starts in the same series.  Most good coaches would have pulled him and let him know this isn’t how we do things.  Instead hats and headset were thrown and the refs were being berated FOR NO REASON AT ALL.  The kid was moving all night long.  I don’t know how this is gonna get any better this year.  Disappointed Fan
