The guys on foxsports seemed to like him also. His class has a chance to be really special if they stay together.

I’m hopeful that it’s just a matter of acclimating to major D1 hoops. He’s got all the physical talent needed to succeed there should he apply himself to defense.

To all you guys who are going, be safe and enjoy the game, work is on for tomorrow and I cannot make the game. Cheer the Blues onto victory and enjoy the venue, I hear its a good one. Be careful traveling and cheer for us fans that can't make it, would love to be there.

Abingdon is very good this year and should be proud to be mnt 7 champs. They beat 2 very good teams to do so and earned it

Good question!!! But we never know how severe the bullying was. What kind of support system he had at home or at the school!! He may have had no one to talk to about it or it was brushed off. Not pointing fingers at anyone, just doing "what ifs". Who knows what pushes people to that point. Regardless, it is hard to imagine someone getting to a point to end their life!!! My heart hurts for the family of this young man!!!!
Just a personal note. I had a car accident my senior year that left me paralyzed from the chest down. As an 18 year old it was a lot to wrap my head around. I had my days of why and sometimes thought I would be better off not being here but not once did I get even close to the point of considering ending it!!! Thankful for a great family and friends support system!!

Certainly, prayers for this young man’s family and the Richlands community. I hope Graham makes a show of solidarity Thursday night.
Knowing that some HS kids read (and post) on this board, I will say this. If you are considering ending your own life, those feelings are not normal and healthy. It’s OK to be “not OK”, but please seek help if you are feeling these emotions; every insurance provides for mental health evaluation and treatment. Suicide is a permanent solution to temporary troubles. People do care: your family, your friends, and your community care. And believe you me, once you walk off that stage in early June after your senior year, the “crap” that goes along with high school disappears.
Sorry to ramble.

Prayers for this young mans family, friends, and RHS. Similar situation happened when I was in high school and it literally affects everyone associated with the school. I would love to see Graham and RIchlands come together before the game Thursday night and honor this young man with prayer.

Caleb Jennings probably had 10 touchdowns or more called back for holding penalties too. That’s one thing I remember about him. The yards and the touchdowns he had called back would’ve been enough to make an all region team

Great to think about. Thankfully I was able to watch all 3 play.
Breeding was just tough hard nosed and would get you 3-4 yards a pop for the most part.
Jennings was just so quick and shifty. He could just hide behind the lineman and find a hole and he was through it before the D knew it. He could also stop on a dime and change directions so fast.
Johnson was just a man among boys. Power, speed, stiff arm, etc., etc.,
But for me, I am partial to Jennings. He was just fun to watch. He had around 44 TD's his senior year if I am not mistaken. Who knows what kind of numbers he, would have put up his Junior and Senior years had he played more than 2 quarters and a series most of those games. He just left you shaking your head with your mouth gaped open a lot throughout the game.
