Didn't see the game, but my hat goes out to anyone who beats Union.  Congrats to the Wolfpack.  There is an old saying, "Respect has to be earned", and I think Ridgeview earned a lot of respect by winning this game.  It's odd that some fans want the glory for what the team has done, but in a way we all are sometimes like that.  When our team wins, we say "WE WON", but when our team looses we often hear "They Lost".  Hope you Wolfpack fans can learn to say "WE LOST" when the victory escapes your team.
I don't blame you for wanting to boast about the win over Union, but at the same time, remember its the boys and coaches on the field that won the game and I give them all the due credit, they earned it.

I disagree on the hot dogs....I dont like sweet chili, IMO chili was mean to have a slight spiciness to it...not be sweet.  They have laffy taffy for that..

Run defense for ridgeview really impressed me tonight....it was pretty much lights out..Polier had a few good runs...he impressed me the most.  And on defense he seemed to always be around the ball, gave a Adkins a nice hit in the 2nd quarter...
 

Gotta give credit where credit is due. Ridgeview impressed me in a couple of ways. First, they controlled the line of scrimmage  on both sides of the ball. Also, they flew to the ball faster on D than any team I’ve seen in a while. I wouldn’t say that Union didn’t have its “A” game, I think Ridgeview took it away. I honestly think Union was out coached tonight. The play calling hurt the Bears too. I completely understand wanting to establish the run but we have to many options in the passing game to stay in be T, especially when a team is dead set on stopping it. IMO, #10 & #80 for Union need to play more of a role in the offense. And I’d love to see them use the middle of the field.

Ridgeview outworked,out played and was a much better TEAM than Union tonight, yes Union didn’t bring it’s A game tonight but Ridgeview had everything to do with that. No need in telling you this but Adkins is a stud but your QB beat us with his runs and passing . Again congrats Wolfpack

It was definitely a great game....congrats Ridgeview, had us on our toes all night, but made dickenson county proud..
 
To Union, nothing to hang your head about, played a great game....Polier(sp) is a beast...
 

This is what I heard . Cameron Carroll who grad last yr wore # 6.. Cameron's Dad is battling cancer. He is wearing this number to support Cameron.. Just what I was told.

I hope they do move to thursday....I'd rather not have to endure Forrest Gump rain to watch the game...

If Union fans are expecting to roll over RV, you're gonna be in for a rude awakening. RV is much better at the LOS, and the three headed monster of Adkins, Sexton and Sproles are electric. 
If Union doesn't play their A-game, we will lose. Period. Union should have an advantage at the LOS with our line play but this is a very, very good RV team. Best they've ever had. Union continues to evolve on offense, Bailey threw two absolute dimes for TDs Friday but RV isn't Letcher, they have speed for days and are good at the LOS. Going into another hostile environment, the Bears can't make mistakes and expect just to coast on talent. Adkins is getting D1 looks for a reason, he's a special athlete.
 
Not that Union doesn't have some special skill kids like Jenkins and Polier, but I'm saying Ridgeview is very good and Union can't afford to not be their best.

I love the fact we can all jab at each other....and at the end of the day, no one has hurt feelings besides a select few on here....

I'm hesitant to talk smack, it's well known the talent Union has....and IMO ridgeview is much better than last year.  It will be a game to see..

Appomattox was the best of course...and the 2nd I'd go with Richlands...they progressed over the course of the season..with union being very close behind.
