Well, if they determine the individual(s) that were bullying him and have evidence (social media, notes, direct witnesses to the bullying, then the family will have sufficient evidence to file for a wrongful death lawsuit.  There is no burden of proof under this law.  Sufficient evidence to prosecute/lawsuit will be there.

I hope it's investigated, and, if bullying was the key factor, that the individual is charged with negligent homicide.  That's the only way the message is going to get delivered...hold those individuals accountable and then spread the word on the repercussions.  Prayers go out to the family.

Yep, that is exactly how it is still.  I live just a little over an hour away from U of West GA.  Those summer showers definitely bring more humidity and sticky weather, but probably not as bad as Florida.

U of West Georgia was West Georgia State Braves back in the mid 90s wasnt it?  First baseball field I ever saw with the grass cut out around the plate, mound bases and shortshop but everything else was grass.  Went to a football camp there in Carrollton and every day before our 2pm session it would pour the rain for 5 minutes and feel like a sauna the rest of the day.  Brutal.

I like that the TSSAA has their quarters, semis and championships at MTSU and they're all in the same week. I've made more than one trip from one end to the other. Give them a Kleenex and a cookie and they'll be fine.

They will have more to gripe about as the VHSL All Star games are March 25th at UVA Wise...

As trublue stated above, all GHSA championships are played over two days in the GA Dome (moving to Mercedes Benz Stadium next door next year).  Friday's games are: A-Private (10:00), 3A (1:00), 5A (4:30) and 6A (8:00).  Saturday's games are: A-Public (10:00), 2A (1:00), 4A (4:30) and 7A (8:00).  All games are on live TV on the GA Public Broadcasting channel.  No one has to buy in to a website to watch.

The #Hokies need a kicker since Slye graduates next year. Sets up nice for ole Stout to redshirt and get some reps in a college weight room and then be the kicker for four years. Come to Blacksburg!

The head coach at Grayson, Jeff Herron, is a Gate City grad and E&H alum.  Herron accepted the job at Grayson this year after Mickey Conn, the only HC, Grayson has had since their inception, took a job with Dabo at Clemson.  (Dabo and Mickey were roommates at Alabama and played for the Tide.)
Herron was the HC at Camden County and was very successful...then he became the HC at a private school in Athens.  When the Grayson head coaching job came open ...Herron was the one coach they pursued.  He turned it down at first...but after more persuasion by the admin at Grayson, he decided to accept the job.

Been to games at Camden Co. and at Valdosta. Both were real eye openers in terms of the amount of talent on the field and the facilities. 

I follow the Northwest Whitfield Bruins in GA.

First regular season games tomorrow. My team, Cherokee, plays at North Cobb (Kennesaw). They have four D-1 prospects. One has committed to Auburn. Could be a tough opening game.

Believe it or not, I have the BHC game article and photo of the dunk over him in my old HS scrap book at my parents.  Next time I'm there, I'll have to dig through it, scan it and post it.  Such memories...miss those days!

Just because you dunked during a game while he was on the court doesn't mean you dunked on him...LOL...
