I remember Beaver played Man in Mitchell  in the 70’s, they ran 3 plays in the last 3 seconds and finally won.  The Man coach took his team off the field for the extra point and then was suspended for not staying on the field.  Beaver has cheated for decades.

I see what you’re saying. I too default to saying I’m from Giles because outsiders are more family with the term Giles than Pearisburg.

That August 13th lineup at Emory looks good.  I might had over that way to watch that.  A lot of good talent between those three teams.

I’m typically spot on when it comes to State Championship predictions. I told people in 2018 that Graham/Goochland game would not be close and people thought I was crazy. This Graham team does not have near as good of a defense as the past IMO however, they are good enough to where KW will not be able to match them score for score. G-Men win by 17-21 points. 

Sorry I let everyone down. 
It has not been a good year on a personal level for myself. I’ve struggled mightily with several mental health issues and financial issues as well. But I’ve spent the last 6-8 weeks or so working on myself and trying to get past this. And part of that necessitated a break from my more extreme stressors, of which this board had become one. 
 
I’m sorry again to those of you who look forward to the pick’em each year. I let y’all down and I take complete responsibility. 
 
With any luck, I can put these issues behind me and get back to the pick’em next season with my full and usual commitment. 

Sad to see this yearly tradition go to hell this year.

And you keep bringing up how good the QB is for some of the coaches...do you realize most of the time this coach is the reason the QB is there in the first place?
Sample size lol...how long should a coach be somewhere before they can be judge good or bad coach...good grief nobody knows how a coach will perform at a new place

I think there may be some academic and qualifying issues. Hopefully it all works out for him.
