He also has former Honaker and VT kicker Jordan Stout in Happy Valley with him. Glad to see so many local kids on the big stage. trublue 939 Author Report Share Posted September 4, 2020 TBH, I didn't know about the upcoming game you mentioned. So, I looked it up. Rabun County...(beautiful area of GA, BTW) , has the #1 rated (dual threat) QB in the nation, class of 2022, Gunner Stockton, verbally committed to South Carolina. Rabun County will be playing Prince Ave. Christian lead by their class of 2021, 5 star QB, Brock Vandagriff, verbally committed to GA. (BTW, former Gate City alum, Jeff Herron, coached at Prince Ave. Christian before taking the job at Grayson HS in GA) I understand why Stockton of Rabun picked SC, as Rabun County is coached by Jaybo Shaw, brother of former SC standout Connor Shaw. Should be a great game. Thanks for posting.

I read when he left TL Hanna in SC, he said he was retiring...guess, you can't keep a coach of his caliber off the football field. I would say football DNA runs through his whole being. ( I watched on a pay view the SC AAAAA Championship when he had his team playing at William Brice Stadium in Columbia.)

Deleted Account 5,203 Report Share Posted September 9, 2020 Poca is the most bewildering team I’ve ever seen. They’re either winning state titles in bunches or in the midst of a 150-game losing streak. Zero in between. Always found that odd. chipinbogey
