  2. Are you talking about the Jones kid from Radford? He is also signed to play at Radford University, if I am correct. I have never seen him play but I did see his brother, who plays for Bucknell, play and he was really good. I must see a Radford game this year!!!

    Zac Ervin 2000

If my calculations are correct, Mac reached 2,000 points on the nose on January 5th in his 10th game of the season. He played in 20 more games averaging 40.05 ppg (801). He finished his career with 2,801. This would put Zac on pace with a number of obvious assumptions.

Zach is unbelievable, but this GC team is nowhere NEAR last year. Union, down Slagle, led for most of first quarter, it was 5-6 point game at the half, and GC only won by 15. If Wes is 100%, there's a chance Union wins. Radford will smash GC if the other three kids don't start taking more shots

  8. After watching the girl from Chilhowie last night she has to be in this group. She almost outscored rural retreat by herself.

    Radford vs Graham?

Please. Everyone knows GC is the best team in the region and it isn't close.

  10. Slow morning at work. Realistic Expectations: Prior to the DB game this year, GC had played 5 larger schools, and 2 schools in their same classification. The 2 VA AA schools were Lee (38 point win), and Central (32 point win) for an average win of 35 points. The 5 larger schools were Daniel Boone (14 point win), Science Hill (15 point win), Wenonah (4th ranked team in Alabama....1 point loss), Greenville (13 point win), and Sullivan East (15 point win)..for an average win of 14 points.........and an average loss of 1 point. That is an 80% winning percentage against larger schools. GC beat Science Hill by 15. DB beat them by 10. Given the above information...........how was it not realistic that GC fans had the expectation that we COULD beat DB? Not trying to cause an uproar or start an argument. Really curious to hear peoples' answers.

  12. I don't think 16-7 is that bad for a team that lost 2 ridiculously underrated players. Graham just don't have the experienced bigs under the basket to be a real threat this year. Dalton (inside) and Martin (all over the floor) where very good basketball players.

    Radford vs Graham?

Going to drop some more knowledge for you... Graham will go 16-6 (pending all games being played), undefeated in the SWD and will get blown out by the first team they play from the M7D...finish the season at 16-7...

    Slagle out for Union

Unfortunate situation for this kid. Torn ACL, second year in a row for the Bears starting center! I want to wish Wes the best of luck in whatever he chooses to do and for a quick and speedy recovery!! I hate to see any kid, from any team injured!
