  1. To me one of the biggest question marks for Graham is the linebackers. Graham lost two of the best linebackers quite possibly the school has seen. The chemistry and talent that Kastner and Edwards had isn't something that comes around every year. It's definitely not something that can be replaced in 3 weeks of practice. Graham has a lot of young kids that will get playing time this year. Should be an interesting year for sure.

  2. I’ve heard that, but haven’t had it confirmed

  3. And Chris Patton, Mark "Caveman" Cundiff". and many more. I believe the duo of Eddie "Hit man" Hall and Mark "Cave Man" Cundiff would be my pick as the top linebacking duo to come through Graham High School. Terry may have been a better LB then his brother Eddie.

    Graham vs Richlands

This is ludicrous, Jonathan Moxon should be first off the bench if the starting QB goes down.

  5. Even the seniors are green. The current QB was a 1k yd RB his sophomore year, then was moved to QB last year for lack of a better option. Hard nosed kid, with an incredible motor, but inexperienced at the QB position.

  6. They don't have one, hence struggling.

    Graham vs Richlands

Who is Street? Cox will start and Keen is ready to step in if needed.

  8. I think you could stick a sloth in Graham's backfield this year and it will gain yardage. I think the lineplay will be very good.

    Scoreboard: Week 1

Adkins did ok I think 81 yards on 16 carry vs a solid d selling out to stop the run. Rv can do 1 of 2 things 1) run Adkins 30 times a game odds are good he will break one at some point 2) hit some passes and get the extra defenders out of the box Last year we did option 1 this year option 2 No need to hit the panic button at qb but the passing game needs to get better

  10. As stated here multiple times, until the Little League program has a complete overhaul to get kids interested at an earlier age, there won’t be much success. GC needs multiple seasons like last year to build momentum and attract players walking the halls while developing the elementary age kids at the same time.

  11. Not sure. I heard he was hobbling around school yesterday. Tough break for sure. Crazy year...miss a couple games and it’s a third of your season.

  12. Exactly.....like I said “been too long”. I have faith in the current coaching staff, but the current crop of kids is pretty far removed from the moxie of the last successful GC team, with a few exceptions. Reed’s brother was an all state DB in ‘14. Him, Edwards and Jenkins are players. The rest are very young and/or very inexperienced, and most don’t even remember a successful season. Times are different, kids are different, and the once successful feeder program has been broken for some time.

  13. I said “probably” should have won it all, which is admittedly subjective. I was merely making reference to a solid GC team post 2010. That team was loaded with firepower and a stout defense....including multiple all state selections and 2A offensive player of the year. You’re spot on about the funky playoffs that year.

  14. The 2014 team was loaded with talent on both sides of the ball. They made a deep run and probably should have won it all . But still, been too long... As a M7 fan, I would also love to see Lee High right the ship, but that doesn’t seem to be happening anytime soon either.

  15. Starting QB, and only experienced senior, went down early in the 1st with an ankle injury. They had a few seniors come over from basketball but none have played since little league. Had a couple in quarantine, including Jenkins who is their speedster. Youth and inexperience across the line. Rough night for sure.

  16. Go to nfhsnetwork.com You'll have to subscribe. It's $10.99 per month or $69.99 per year. Once you sign up and subscribe you'll get to choose a school to support. I'm pretty sure the supporting school will receive some type of monetary reward. That should get you setup. You'll also be able to follow certain schools and watch live events. If you hit the "on demand" tab you'll be able to watch archived games. Some of those games going back years depending on when the school got set up with nfhs In order to watch games you can either search by school or if you have followed certain schools it should pop up on the main page.
