Damn, that's terrible to hear.  Hate it for the kids, the parents, and school, the community.  I know the seniors have to feel like a rug's been pulled out from under their feet.  Best wishes and good vibes to any and all that if they do have it for good health for them and their family going forward.

Holston does have good mobile Qb, Burton OL/DL will be unmatched for Holston. This Defense will the best he’s seen all year. I think Burton is too strong and to fast for Holston.

Not having seen Burton play can't comment on their speed, but I still think Holston has a chance.  Their receivers seemed like they have some speed.  Don't know what percentage of passing or running offense Burton has, but I think Holston is pretty even in the passing and running game.  The thing that can be the X factor, the playoffs is a new chapter for the Cavaliers, and hopefully they don't let nerves dictate their play.

I have become a fan of the Holston Cavaliers and hoping they can pull out the win.  I think some may consider it an upset if they beat Burton.  Holston's QB has so many dimensions in his game, he will be a threat from quarter one to quarter four.  The Cavaliers have very capable receivers also and a "tackling machine" named Blevins.  His first name slips my mind.

Couldn't beat giles or glenvar either in 2013 & 2014....so they bolted to 1A to beat up on smaller teams.,.chicken shits

Like I said earlier.......Didn't want none. Union punched us in the mouth........aka played football. We had a D lineman that got smoked the whole game too. Can't blame it all on the last play when you got punched the whole game.

No. It is what the VHSL calls it that matters. And they are being very forgiving of anyone having to forfeit.

The word forfeit is thrown around loosely these days. I don't use it unless it is very specific. I use no contest until a forfeit is official. If a game is not played and Covid factored in at all from a positive test to quarantine to "We don't have enough players due to some being unavailable due to covid" then I count it as a no contest. What it boils down to is just because they didn't play doesn't make it a forfeit.

I've e-mailed them for years about ratings problems, because it needs to be right!!!

I think it's sad Ridgeview's fans and coaches haven't made more noise, or at least them being talked about more.  It's Ridgeview, not Richlands, and not Union, but Ridgeview is the 4th best team or one of the 4 best teams in Region D, yet Richlands and Union are arguing over that 4 spot when at least by the eye test, and Calpreps, and comparing scores, when you take all 3 of those data points, they point to Ridgeview, not Richlands or Union (and I mean no disrespect to Union or the Blues) but I am pointing out that the team who is getting totally disrespected and if settled on the field, who truly is the best of the three teams, it's Ridgeview.  I think that is the real sad part and kicker in the equation with the whole Region D mess.

That’s amazing in this day and age, regardless of competition.  Looking forward to seeing how Narrows fares in the postseason.
