I think it would be pretty cool idea to have a crossover with  M7 and SWD. 3 team rotation so Graham would play Union Lee and Wise on a 2 year cycle and Tazewell would play Ridgeview Battle and Gate city then they switch. That would keep teams from scheduling weaker 1A schedules non conference 

Graham and Northwood girls would be an instant classic... final score would probably be 8-6 in 6 OT's.

Gotcha. My fault. Biggest myth in recruiting is you have to transfer to get noticed. 

I don't think the Richlands HC is the problem.  I think what it comes down to is the feeder programs, (Little League).  A few years back, there were several teams in the program allowing many young and upcoming talented players to learn from their coaches.  Then along comes a couple of guys who want to be known as the best coaches in the area, and wreck the program.  They reduced the number of teams down to two, each having a multitude of players, and then, they only play a few, while the others get to watch from the sidelines.  They made the program about their coaching ability rather than a learning experience for the players.  Who wants their young child to go to practice everyday, do all that's expected, and never get into live action.  Back in the day, little league was all about learning the game, not acting like you are the Dallas Cowboys rather than the Richlands Cowboys.  Now we have very talented players walking the halls of our schools and never coming out to participate because they don't want to waste the time and energy to set on the bench, like they have been taught during their time in the feeder program.  Fix the feeder program, and in my opinion, you fix the problem.  Let the younger players play, no matter what level of talent, you are to teach them, not destroy their desire!  Who cares if you don't win the championship on that level, it's what you have taught these young minds that is the important thing, not the fact that you are the winningest coach that ever came along.  Who cares about you? It should be all about the players on the feeder program level, not the flamboyant coach on the sideline!!!!

Yeah thats what I was saying. SWD meets today all region would follow after that. Those teams arnt supposed to be released to the public until after everyone that has a kid on that team in eliminated. But for sure there is bond to be a lot of disagreement when these teams come out. Its going to get real fun when we get to all region because the Mountain 7 will have 6 votes compared to the SWD only having 5. Which mean IF 1st team QB comes down to Creasey and O'Quinn then there is a good chance O'Quinn gets it just because the mountain 7 have more votes. Unless SWD has stats that are way better than the M7 kid the M7 kid is going to get the nod every time. Until Lebanon comes back and evens those numbers back out  

Yes I think Jones has a great shot I dont think they will go co 1 because that doesnt look as good moving on to all region voting but I dont think I will matter at that position. The only team that really got to see him play a full game in person was Central and from the newpaper write up he pretty much put the team on his back for that win. That could be the deciding vote there. 

I agree this is the best stint Akers has had as the man in charge so has he found his place or will the jump to a more high profile job?

I think the lost of Jones will be too much for the bearcats to overcome in this one. They were able to pull together and win last week but the backup QB just doesnt run the offense well. They were able to throw quick screens and go balls and win last week because they were just able to out athlete Lee. I do not see this being the case this week. The way Ridgeview runs to the football on defense will negate the speed of VA high and shut them down. I think the defense of the Bearcats has been a weak point most of the season so Ridgeview should be able to score at will and VA high will not have to fire power to keep up. 

I agree with you I dont think Creasey has a shot to be POY he isnt even the POY on his team much less the district

56 is Connor Roberts. Absolute beast, guy has wreaked total havoc all year on offenses, I’d have to agree on the defensive POY so far.

Evidently you have watched zero film on GC, they can throw it and throw it well, when they want to! I don't look for the Devils to win but I don't believe they will get blown out either.

Congrats to Joey Carroll on a nice sophomore season. No doubt we'll see this program continue to trend upward.
