Maybe the want GMen to travel further? But I’m like you, Lebanon makes more sense logistically for both.

Boys I think Honaker can beat Auburn. I'm picking Auburn, but Honaker won't be intimidated one bit and coming into the game thinking they can win. Auburn by 7 pts. VH vs Graham. Just seems like Graham can't beat em in a close game. I'm going VH by 6. In girls, I'm going Central close over RV as Wise has been there and done that and I think that helps. RV can beat Wise, but I think Central Wise gets the w by 8. Eastside and Honaker. Toss up. I have no clue. I'll go Eastside because of the previous win and their run last year having been there and done that. Eastside by 6.

Ervinton HS was the smallest HS gym I ever played in. I doubt the length of Lebanons floor is an issue for Auburn since they just finished playing at Cassel Collesium.

This is confirmed! Last night it was going to be UVAWise. Lebanon was proposed for the Region Championship as well. This will be a fun game. VA High or Graham to play for State Runner-UP!

I think Graham lost at Lebanon by 6, went ice cold and beat Lebanon at home by about 25 pts. Thar gym down there ain't no joke. It's like putting a basketball goal in the middle of an open field. Gmen better get thst figure out.

My predictions are: Boys: Auburn over Honaker Graham over Virginia High Girls: Honaker over Eastside Wise Central over Ridgeview Liberty Christian Academy over Abingdon Hope I am wrong on a couple of these though...

All 4 could be wrong and no surprise to me. They can all go either way. Honaker over Auburn would be the only surprise to me, not a huge surprise, but a surprise because if Honaker got the W, it would mean back to back wins over GW and Auburn and nobody saw thst coming if it happens. I don't even think Honaker fans would have figured that would happen.

Lebanon won 12-2 in 8 innings I think. Heard that Lebanons pitching rotation as a whole was suburb. They threw 7-9 guys and they only combined to give up 3 or 4 hits. Only problem was the walks they gave up but that will get better as the season goes on. Thought East was going to be a decent team but turns out they only had 2 players return from last years team.

Seems like Va High and Graham would want to play at Lebanon too-that’s right in the middle for both of them

Heard someone was raising hell that one of the martinsville players made a shot and was celebrating by shooting a finger gun at the v high player. So they are definitely undisciplined. Not a fan of the way v high acts by no means but that is completely uncalled for. All of this stems from the coaches imo
