    Both of their good WRs are gonna be seniors however one of them recently had knee surgery due to an injury sustained in track. Hopefully he can make it back before the regular season is over but it’s probably not likely. The other WR is good but not as fast. I don’t think Narrows will have any issues winning the Pioneer.

    Essex wins 1A 
    Giles doesn't get to .500 for second straight season. 4-6 
    Grayson Co is not as good as predicted. 7-3

    Riverheads will not dominate 2A. They will make the playoffs of course but the days of winning multiple state championships are over.

    Dude is a douche....well see next year when they play teams they should have been playing all along...oh yeah they were 2A once and it didn't work out for them....so they tucked their tails and ran to lower division where they could beat up on teams half their real size or more than half

    Wow! Do I think Riverheads win, very likely but man, humbleness goes a long way. Just sayin’ 

    One could tell the Riverheads to enjoy the big dance this year because they may not even make it to the floor next year in 2A where they should have been all along, lol.

    Appo is great/late.  Graham can't let them hang around within striking distance.  Same goes for Appo if they let Graham hang out.  One possession game decided first drive of the third quarter and it's punch for punch after that.  Last one with the ball wins.

    I'm taking Narrows. Giles will not be able to cover Crigger and IMO Narrows line play is much better. 
    Narrows by 1-2 touchdowns

    Single wing is alot of misdirection and doesn't require as many skill positons. Relying heavily on the offensive line and blocking schemes. The spread or other offenses rely more on skill positions. So you then need wideouts, running backs, and a good QB to make that work. Of course a good offensive line is still necessary. I just feel like Giles is unique and the offense Narrows runs is generic.

    Glenvar is good but I don’t feel they are on Appo or Graham’s level. I would have Glenvar as a 14-17 point underdog against both of them.

    Congrats to Giles Spartans.  So happy for this program and their kids.  Giles has been down for a bit, but it looks like the peak of them being down has just turned, and the trend back up is now in full effect.  The future is pretty good at Giles for the next few years with what they return and have coming up.  I think as early as next year, they are in contention and may push Galax to be the team to come out of the West in 1A.  We will see.  It's early, and BBurg is down for sure, but it's still a good sign for Giles to come from behind and get a W like this.
