I don’t know about that. No one ever explained the staff turnover and results of the second tenure. 
I’m not inferring anything, but reputation is important and more so than wins. Hypothetically, what am I teaching my children about life lessons if I knowingly choose to select a leader who (like it or not) brought a level of disgrace? 
If possible, based upon the information available, I am choosing the person that does things the right way AND the results translate into wins. 

I would look to someone to first, and foremost, instill values of discipline, hard work, and teamwork. 
Next, I am looking for a strategic decision maker. 
 
Those coaches/candidates are certainly out there and may have applied. It’s going to take a good staff working together.

He's 66 years old and hasn't coached in 27 years, 28 by the start of next season. He never once managed to last 3 years in his brief coaching career without being suspended or fired. Not sure how his past transgressions help anyone from out-of-town respect the Blue Tornado? Likely the exact opposite. But for sheer entertainment value, what the hell? Hire the man. Should be a hell of a ride. Could even lead to threads that rival the one about Chris Akers.

You're both right. The improvement on the line was very noticeable from game 1 to game 2. Would it have been as noticeable if a different back was running? Probably, but not as much. Clements ruled the day. No 2 ways about it.

Graham is playing their best ball right now. Steady improvement as the season has progressed. A lot has been said about Clements and rightfully so but the O line has improved considerably. This game should be a fun one to watch.

I don't see D. Palmer leaving either. From the outside looking in the Graham staff gets along very well. They all seem to enjoy working together and helping the kids. I may be totally wrong but brother or no brother I think he stays at Graham. 

There are so many things this is evident with them on.  I don't think the school board has any fans from any of the three schools from what I know.  The superintendent does what he wants regardless of what anyone suggests to him but yet he has no spine to stand and make a firm decision either way.  Still trying to figure out how that works 

I am going to put this baby to bed, Dennis Palmer is not going back to Richlands even if Ronnie Davis is the new head coach. The Palmers are happy at Graham.  We've had this conversation and it doesn't matter the wording of the question, the answer is a resounding , "No"..He's not going anywhere.
