At Norton:
Burton over John Battle 15-10
Patrick Henry over John Battle 27-7
Wise Central over PH 3-0
Wise Central over Burton 7-0
Observations:
PH is a big team….really good size in the trenches.  Should be a tough out in 1D.
Central’s Dline looked really disruptive. They will run QB Church quite a bit and his arm is underrated.  
Burton was scrappy and did well in two games in which they appeared over- matched. Have some speed with #4 and #7.
John Battle is much better than last year…may not show up I  W’s.  But they are more athletic and sound and showed some creativity on offense…. #3 is a scrappy baller.

I lean Galax. I'd like to see Holston win since Galax is almost in the state title game every year. But, I for sure think this is going be a defensive game. I don't think either team can put up more than 2-3 TD's on each other cause of how solid the defenses are for both teams.

Twin Spring has 4 outta 5 starters back I believe. I'd be surprised if they didn't win the Cumberland out right.
Runner up probably between Burton & Rye Cove. Chavez & Rhoton are back for RC and I know them two are ballers.
Eastside is the wildcard of the district.
i don't expect much from Walker & Castlewood.  Definitely Castlewood.

Union has never had a loosing season under Turner. I think the worse was one 5-5 season years ago. They've also won more playoffs games than they've lost. It's ridiculous to suggest that he needs to be replace.

I can't see Holston or Galax going toe to toe against Riverheads. Riverheads is just on a different level.

Heck, I say Holston may give Galax some issues. I'm 99.9% sure they will meet in 2 weeks.

Personally, I think this is one of the most intriguing matchups in the second round!
Does anybody think Grundy's got the juice to knock off unbeaten Holston or does Holston shut 'em down like they have everybody else this season and play on to another week?🤔

Going be hard for Union to stop Graham's offense. Graham's definitely better now compared to when they played a couple months ago. That being said, Union for some strange reason plays really good at Mitchell. I expect some real hocus pocus when these two step on the field.

Not to take away from the Union/Ridgeview & Richlands/Tazewell games but how about them Holston Cavaliers. They're solid for a team that lost a lot from the Spring. Not sure if they're on Galax's level but definitely a team to watch out for going forward!
