If changes need to be made, if incidents occurred with students, why the hell is a guy with developmental issues who, to my knowledge, has NEVER been anything but positive and supportive of all things Union (and Powell Valley, etc..) and didn't do anything wrong getting punished, but the bozo administration is still in place? 
 
It makes ZERO sense. If changes need to be made, start at the damn top, not the bottom.

If anyone thinks the West is down in 1A this year compared to the East.....they are in for a big surprise.  Eastside and Burton are both tough as nails and very capable of winning it all.  I dont see either of them losing by 15-20 pts.  

It should the way the past games have been for them this year!! I would expect it to be another great game!!!

Even though I believe GC still has more talent. There is one thing I’ve have always been told and believe. And I also believe it’s why GC won last night. Heart > Talent. GC could have folded when they knew Zac wouldn’t play vs WC, they could have folded down double digits to Union last night with Zac out and Dean unable to break out of the triple team. This team found a way to win despite Dean only having 11. That my friend, is pure heart....and Scotty out-coaching Moore in the 2nd half.  

I doubt anyone on this board plays basketball for UHS so we don’t win or lose. Those kids (my own included) work their ass off and could care less about some blow hard hiding behind a keyboard talking about whatever glory days they may try to live in. If you come to a message board to get your opinion validated or ego stroked you may need a new hobby. 

All this board needs is another childish wanna be who results to name calling to attempt to make a point. Grow up, learn to have a conversation and then maybe we’ll keep talking sports. The Bears are playing well, we all are happy about that. I’m sure as hell not going to bow down to some guy who just joined this board and pretend your are the guru of Union basketball. 

Glad somebody else called out that strange and inaccurate statement made above.  Graham and even Richlands have accomplished more, if you look strictly at results.

Just because you played college basketball doesn’t mean you can coach basketball at any level. Some people just don’t have what it takes to transfer it over and teach another person. Seen it many of times around this region. Some of the best coaches I have seen never played the game they coach!!

when did he make the state tourney? i know he hasnt at union. four years ago with mitchell jay gavin noakes slagle spears barjer and jake barnette couldnt get out of the first round with all that talent. only scored 53 points with a team that shoulda been in the 80s on a nightly basis. again just my opinion but he dont adjust his coaching to fit the talent he has. its his system no matter what. that team i mentioned shoulda been run and gun but he forced them to play slow halfcourt game. only good thing ill say is he gets his teams really nice stuff.

i looked at 1a region and was amazed burton qb didnt even make 2nd team. his team beat the qb who was 1st team and had 5 total tds against them. his team also beat the 2nd team qb in the region playoffs. his wide recievers made 1st and 2nd team but none of the recivers from 1st and 2nd team qbs made it. its a buddy system ans every body dislikes jimbo i get that but thats not fair to the kids at all.
