In the end, you will have to beat at least two good teams to win the region, nobody should get a free ride, including the #1 seed.  Seeding for a single team to advance is not as important as some make it out to be.  If two teams were to advance, it would be more important so as not to have the two best teams meet in the semis.  But with this group, there are at least two very good teams in each half of the bracket, and another in each side capable of pulling off a major upset.

Union didn't belong on same field before the game and now it's a banged up, depleted Graham team with three days prep. Hilarious.

Agreed.  Central is the only team that played close with Abingdon all year, and had their chances to win the game.  Tazewell could not match the physical play of Central last night.  Maybe without the turnovers, Tazewell's playmakers might have had more chances without the turnovers, but Tazewell couldn't stop Central's running attack.  Game is over, the only thing that matter's right now is that Central will face Union in the Region D Championship game.

With all that has been going on with Richlands, I think Ridgeview wins big.  Ridgeview is one of the top 3 teams in the Region, and maybe could have won the region if they had the opportunity.

Speaking as a Richlands fan, we deserve this after the bratty fit we threw over the Graham situation. 

Richlands has lost to both teams with any quality they played and one wasn't close. Central played a very good Abingdon team to the wire and lost on a crazy 4th down play and beat a very good Ridgeview team and then beat a decent enough Union team with ease. Richlands has not shown they can beat good teams. Not sure what you saw in beating VHS or Marion makes you think Richlands is better than Wise and that much better than Union. Union will likely lose to Graham around the same margin Richlands did, give or take a score.
 
there s that arrogance again. You make it seem like challenging a statement like Richlands easily beats Union as some huge M7 homer idea. It isnt. You said the same exact stuff in basketball, wasn't even close to being right. I'm not even saying Union beats Richlands. I'm saying to just assume Union would lose to Richlands and it likely wouldn't be close has no basis in actual results this year. Did you expect people to just agree with you that Richlands, who s beaten as many good teams as Union this year, zero, is that much better? You're as much a homer for the SWD that I or most anyone else is for the M7. 

Sounds like Union and Central don't even need to show up to play.
