Hopefully this won’t get deleted again - what is going on at VT? Here’s another local kid they have missed Why are they not going hard after Forest, Adkins, Lester, Allen, etc? They ditched Stout too and made no effort at McClung.

Y’all got a damn good football team but the intelligence level is lacking. Nobody (myself included) has questioned who the best team was. Tonight the fourth best team in the M7 made it to the 2D final. The M7 has far more depth and is better as a whole than the SWD.

I’ve said it all year. The only team from the SWD that deserved to be in the playoffs was Graham.

So if 1-9 is competitive to you then you’re lost. Other years it’s been different. This year, the M7 has kicked the SWDs ass. I’m a believer of a four team playoff. In that setup the only SWD team that should get in is the league champ due to the league’s poor performance against the M7.

Having seen both, Graham names the score. Only team in SWVA that can beat Graham is Graham. This one could get real ugly.

Sure but what’s your point? A 7 win Burton team counts as much as a 7 win Graham team. That’s the problem. I tip my hat to RV for gaming the system but this is a problem. Union hypothetically could be 9-1, M7 champs and have beaten RV/RLands/Graham and be seeded below RV. 

Gaming may not be the best choice but they have taken advantage of a flawed system. Playing Burton and Honaker should not garner the same base points as Graham and Richlands. 
 
It ain’t RVs fault but there’s a problem here.

I don’t really think it’s an argument? Adkins has no business winning POY awards after tonight. Polier out played him, his team won the game and Unions schedule is much more challenging than RV.

Does any work get compensated for travel time or time away from their family? How about the materials they need to work with? So, yes making $75-$80 for 2.5 hours of work in SWVA is good money.

Y’all worried about a horn and I’m still trying to figure out how Union snapped the ball, held it and kicked it 22 yards in 2 seconds at Graham. Someone needs to call the Guinness Book of Records. NFL teams can’t do that. 

Past time to get Letcher off the schedule in all sports. Nothing ever goes well there. Play Eastside or TW, just get LCC off.

If the “lack of institutional control” began before b-ball season began how could he be held liable? Seemingly nobody wants to find out the answer to that. 
Thats the whole problem here. You can’t expect any coach to have control over kids at all times. It’s not possible, students were disciplined. Not sure what else could be done. Holding any coach responsible for this is absurd. 
The only people who could want Moore removed are either A) Without knowledge of what happened B) Wanting some unknown political move C) Never want the basketball program to win or D) Still holding some grudge over Pat Jervis not getting the job when the school opened. 
Let the man coach and move on, if something else happens handle it. One issue that possibly carried over from the fall over an entire career is not worthy of removal.

Should be in the state tournament. Saw them all weekend at UVA Wise and they’re long with athletes. Hayes has improved more than any kid I’ve seen in recent memory. Wouldn’t be shocked if they won M7 and Region D, loaded bunch.

Why switch helmets all the time? You never saw PV or Appy switch, stick to tradition or at least establish one.
