    What are some memories that come back from this rivalry throughout the years? 100 meetings is just a handful. Haha. I think the 2008 playoff game is one of the first ones to come to mind.

    The youth football program in Richlands is dead.  There are too many locales, which cause scheduling, time and travel issues.  Shutting down teams due to numbers is one thing and was necessary when it was executed.  However, when you combine all of the kids to compete with Abingdon, Bristol...etc., you have limited the development of the kids and coaches.  It is now a hot mess.

    A successful season at Richlands will be best measured by the results of the improvements throughout the season. There’s a lot of youth, so I expect steady growth over the next couple of seasons. 
    Project is a good term since they are starting from scratch in many areas. I believe time is the main ingredient to becoming a contender again.

    Always wondered why it wasn't that way to begin with.  Only place I know of where the home side seating is worse than the visitors.

    Just leave it nameless. Powell Valley obviously played there the most but Appy, Clintwood, and Jonesville won state titles on that field.
    While Turner was one of the best to ever do it his name doesn't belong on the field, and if you talk to people that knew him he wouldn't want it on there... or the fieldhouse at the soccer field
