Bulldogs52 reacted to SpillBoss in 2D First Round: #7 Tazewell @ #2 Ridgeview
Tazewell should have all LBs back so that should help the middle for depth and support the back four. If the line play on both sides do their jobs then it will be a tough game. Being able to move personnel in the middle 3 or 4 to play LB/DE is an advantage versus having the same kids locked in that position, my bleacher Coach opinion. Go Dogs.

I wouldn’t pretend that isn’t true. However, not one player in the world is going to be close to breaking records without having an offense that benefits them. You have to play to what your strengths are
He’s averaging 5 catches per game for his career. Ridgeview fans are throwing a fit that their best athlete is only touching the ball 5 times per game.
I’ve seen many people praise Plymal from Grundy for being one of the better area coaches. We don’t knock him when he lets Scammell carry the ball 30 times in a game do we? When Scammell broke the Buchanan County rushing record a few weeks ago I didn’t see anyone diminishing that accomplishment because they feed him the ball so much. I think everyone understands that he’s their best athlete and him touching the ball so much gives them the best chance to win.
Main point I’m making is: if you have one of the best athletes on the field you make sure he touches the ball, regardless of anything else, because that gives you the best chance to win most game. & I think most would agree with that.

If he's anything like me, that would be end, guard and tackle. End of the bench, guarding the water cooler and tackling anybody that comes near it.

I live rent-free in a bunch of folks’ heads, apparently.
Quite honestly, I don’t get it. If my primary allegiance was to a 7-0 team, I wouldn’t give nary a care about a .500 team that my team defeated by 30 in Week 2 of the season. It’s almost as if fear is the primary motivator, but surely that’s not it…

Could you please specify if you are talking about the program as a whole or the people in charge of it. Those boys go out every damn Friday night and give it their all, they can't help what play calls are sent in, what position they have been task to play(some who have never played their position before) because Ginn did not let them try out for positions he just picked where everyone would play, or they fact that he doesn't believe in conditioning or playing guys on both O and D. There are several players who read these threads on here and don't need to hear negative things about their team all the time. Bottom line is we got handed a Coach who if you take away his GVSU time has little to no success anywhere else. I had a player tell me that all Ginn did was talk about coaching college and how great he was and that kid said I just wish he would try and coach us. These kids know they have been handed a raw deal but they go out every week and give it their all. The only way to put out the fire is to get a new Principal, AD, and a coach who cares about this program because I truly believe who we have now do not give one shit about it but we all know that isn't going to happen. I'll leave with this Ginn has said several times in front of parents and players that he isn't here to win games he's here to build character, well the last time I checked winning football games was a pretty big deal.

I know who Jason is. Let me tell you this, I I will leave it alone because I still have PTSD over this guy. He wears overhauls. He's a big dude. I went camping one year in Pennsylvania at this awesome little teenage summer camp called Crystal Lake. It's a cool place, but a little creepy. Turns out, Jason was there, and he came after a me and my friends with a machete and successfully killed some of them. His own mother supported him with the crimes!!! They never caught the dude and years later, I'm working in Manhattan, NYC, and low and behold, guess who shows up? Yep, Jason. He had made it up to Manhattan! This is a dangerous individual and true story folks, very true!

Blues had 2 fumbled kickoffs that Tazewell recovered. A fumbled punt. A fumble by the RB inside the Tazewell 25. And missed a FG at the end of the half.
Richlands left a LOT of points on the field tonight. Can’t do that and expect to win. Good win Dogs.

Bulldogs52 reacted to RichlandsAlum in Backyard Brawl: Tazewell at Richlands
As a complete aside, I was trying to explain this rivalry to one of my current neighbors outside the area. Couldn't really make them understand how I could simultaneously state that I hate Tazewell but I have many lifelong friends who are THS alumni, I tend to pull for them in the postseason (unless they face Richlands), and I'd be willing to fight any outsider who makes a disparaging remark about them or the area in general. Perhaps it is due to my heaping helping of Scots heritage.
That's enough for now. Get back at it, Observer and.... Observer.

It took that long 16 to 17 year drought for the Bulldogs for the Blues to pull ahead in the series. 😂

Tazewell is almost as healthy as they have been all season, with the exception of week 1. Creasy is nearly 100 percent. They get one of their D linemen back this week (at least that's what I hear). Tazewell needs to be locked in and focused. Hoping for a Dog's win.

Bulldogs52 got a reaction from Austrian Ben Shapiro in Tazewell @ Grundy
Grundy and Tazewell always play a close game when played in Grundy, and when this rain rolls in lord knows what will happen. I'm so glad I stopped coming to this site and posting all the time. It's just not worth it.
