SWVA SOCCER RECIPE
Ingredients: 
1-22 Unskilled and overly aggressive players
2 Woefully ignorant, yet vocal fan bases
1-2 Obnoxious coaching staffs
1-3 Incompetent officials
Instructions:
Mix thoroughly and place both fan bases on the same side of the field for 90 minutes.
Watch from a safe distance and ENJOY!
 
 

If you think soccer isn’t interesting then you haven’t attended a match. There is always something interesting going on during SWVA soccer, whether its on the field or in the stands.

Congrats to our super 6 from SWVA who finished on the podium and earned All-State honors!! This tournament is different from the boys — there are no classes. In some brackets there were upwards of 50 ladies battling it out, and to stand on the podium is one helluva achievement.

I was responding to someone who said Clements situation was the same as Jennings. It wasn’t. 

Clements played his freshman year at Mount View so that is not the same situation as Jennings.

That explains Jennings. But what about Clements & Edwards? 😉

The last line of that first paragraph certainly raises some questions.

Everything is a cycle. It’ll all come back around. There’s a group of young kids that are successful that in the next decade will be in high school and the pendulum hopefully swings back the other way.

Ervinton HS was the smallest HS gym I ever played in.  
I doubt the length of Lebanons floor is an issue for Auburn since they just finished playing at Cassel Collesium.

My daughter has 67 credit hours completed, taking 17 credit hours currently, and is in her second semester of college. She'll have 84 credit hours completed at the end of her first year of college. 

The ball left his hands with .04.  There is plenty of evidence on twitter for those that don’t believe.  Unbelievable game!  I think both teams see each other again.  

But the banquet room at Bonanza was available, no excuses.

Personally, I think they should have played it in Council. 

They usually do this at a neutral. Could it possibly be Richlands? It’s the mid-point between the two.  

On this board, we often discus how kids today are just different than they were in previous generations. I don't think anyone here will argue against that point.
The same can be said for the adults in the room. Which is something we rarely, if ever, discuss. Could you imagine for a second, administrators interviewing Phil Robbins, Joel Hicks, Willis White, Norm Lineburg, or Robert Casto based on the whims of a 16 year old kid and his overzealous father?

Down early in the game, John Marshall came back to beat Nottoway after trailing by a score of 2-0. Final score 105 to 23.
