Union_Fan Posted December 15, 2024 Report Posted December 15, 2024 Congratulations GMen! While Strasburg looked good in their games, THIS game showed how much better Reg D was compared to A & B. Strasburg is not a bad team, but the GMen were on a different level. Among the best quotes from today's announcer..."Graham is bigger and stronger and 'probably' has good coaching too." frito gonzales Posted December 15, 2024 Report Posted December 15, 2024 I'm thinking the two best teams in 2A are Graham and Union. Quote

I watched Glenvar many times. The DL at Graham is different level that Glenvars and Union's. Strasburg would have gashed both of them. But Glenvar would have gone to the air and hurt Strasburg. Graham, a nightmare matchup for Strasburg. Union would be Strasburgs ideal matchup. Quote
nrv_football Posted December 15, 2024 Report Posted December 15, 2024 Graham, Glenvar, Strasburg, Union in that order. Hokiebird7 1 Quote
Real Sasquatch Posted December 15, 2024 Report Posted December 15, 2024 If you haven't seen it yet. One of Strasburgs bread and butter plays was the quick toss all year long. This is what happened the first time they tried it. They didn't try it again ... frito gonzales 1 Quote

If the linemen then pull for the backs, (which they like to do) then Grahams D backs come in barely touched. Dare them to throw the ball. yeah, what he said Gridiron60 and jarhead24219 2 Quote

BigWinners Posted December 17, 2024 Report Posted December 17, 2024 I think Union would struggle to put up the points against Strasburg, but I think they do better against the Rams D than Strasburg could do against the Union defense. But again the team that barely escaped BSG was nowhere near the team that beat the Bears in Bluefield so the transitive property is tough. Either way the margin was still closer than Strasburg. but I think Glenvar beats Strasburg too, as well as Union. Quote
