One game at a time. 

For years we had 7-3 or better that couldn't make the playoffs. I'm good with some non-deserving teams making it as long as the better ranked teams get in.  Sub .500 shouldn't but it those others should.  Extra money for vhsl yes,  but what's one more game worth for a kid and to see them play? Worth it.

Don't think Roop or Hammonds is the fastest on the team.  I think that goes to Konner Early

If he's anything like me, that would be end, guard and tackle. End of the bench, guarding the water cooler and tackling anybody that comes near it.

Physical play in favor of the pack,  but numbers to stay fresh for abingdon.  Quality or quantity this week?

I was at Union today for the band competition and I was sitting in the exact same spot I was at for the Appo @ Union game and it brought back some fun memories. One of the best atmospheres I’ve ever seen. The Union fans I was around embraced me and @BlueRazor even though we had on Richlands gear. Truly a blast. 

Tester should have known Crigger wasnt wearing one of those spandex shirts back when we were watching Mikey Hughes lift at E&H.  They hadnt been invented yet.  We old.

I don’t even mind a missed call here and there but for Central to be called for 10 total yards is just a joke 

If you can talk your coaches into calling only td plays on offense and pick 6s on defense you'll still have haters and bleacher turds that know just what to do in every situation.  None of us agree with who's in the game or what's called more than 10% of the time. Facts are simple,  if coaches don't do the extra work then kids won't either.  Even if they do it's no guarantee they've not been out worked.

Whatever happened to simple cover 1, 2, 3? Very seldom do you see communication between db's and lb's and rotating within a zone just to give qb a different look between man and zone schemes.  I don't believe anyone in the viewing area has the manpower to straight man up against a good team that airs it out. 

Union had the right looks for most of the night on defense. The problem came down to poor execution. You've got to stay at home and make tackles, plan and simple.

If they can get a little more consistent it wouldn't be a huge shock if they catch vhs not looking in a couple weeks.  Potential is there to be much better than they've been most of the season. 

Very true. He’s yet to prove himself against good defenses and he would help the team out a whole lot if he hit the weights and threatened the run game. The kid is not a bad athlete I think they’re just afraid to get him injured.

I've never personally been part of  a team or seen a team with such discipline issues on a weekly basis.  You've got veterans on the field getting 15 yard penalties for stupid things.  That does fall on the coaching.  Pull them out! Let them sit a quarter,  then the rest of the game if need be.  Starter or not,  teach them how to respect the game,  opponents, teammates, and themselves. It's not a good look and is shamefully tolerated.  Good game,  minus the chippy bull crap.  I thought everyone saved that for wise? Bahahaha good luck the rest of the way. Playoff pairings are going to be very interesting now. 

It'll be interesting,  as good as rv is union is sitting there hungry after giving 2 big games away already.  I believe they come out a little sharper this week.  Those young dbs are 5 games in so not new anymore and rv qb looks to be averaging at least 1 pick a game.  Won't be a lack of throwing,  but if pack wins it's because of a complimentary run game they didn't have last season.  Bears moving some personel will be an absolute necessity.  Good luck to both.
