Normally, the answer would be money. In this case, it can’t be that because Friday semis and Saturday championship should bring in much higher revenue.
It makes too much sense. That’s why powers that be would never allow it. Even though, regional consolidation would help a lot of areas out. Pound area to Ridgeview and some of the Haysi area to Buchanan co., or Honaker would make a lot of sense.
The game Ridgeview had with them was considered a game. They had 22 games scheduled and was expecting to get 4 at Uva wise tourney and only got 3 and was supposed to play 2 games in Lee High Tournament and a team dropped out so they only played 1. They added Chilhowie and Kachea to still get 22 games.
This is true. There is a lot of sacrifice that goes into anything with the military. After doing a few years with Uncle Sam's Misguided Children I can certainly appreciate that.

I have to disagree here.
Payscale ranks West Points Return On Investment at #4 in the United States with an average base salary index of $118k. Emory & Henry is ranked #1841 with an average base salary index of $66k.
Niche gives West Point an academic grade of A+ and Emory & Henry an academic grade of C+.
West Point is elite. E&H simply is not. Fine school. Nothing wrong with a degree from E&H but it's not in the same galaxy as West Point.
I’m sure E&H is a great school and it appears their football program is taking off a bit since the move to d-2. I’m not sure I could have turned down the offers to West Point. Graduation from there with successful service is pretty much a guaranteed 6 figure or more income for life.
4 seasons 3 different head coaches. All years where RV could have made deep playoff runs. The problem is bigger than the head coach. It goes all the way to the top. Hopefully the election this year can fix things, but I doubt it.
I agree that Beavers is the better overall player; however, Hill was the one they went to on the 3rd and 4th and short plays. It was that way with the last staff to

If I’m Graham I ride that wildcat look the rest of the way. They get cute and try to throw it and they will be done in a hurry. I have a hard time seeing anyone doing anything with them up front.
I will say RV had some chances in the game. Getting it back to 21 all had me thinking this might be the day. Especially after the disaster that was the 1st qtr. After driving back, I’ve realized that the offense really did enough to win. Yeah they didn’t make adjustments. But they scored 27 points (last 8 being after game was no longer in doubt). Graham just had the answers up front. O’Quinn had no real chances to throw. When he did, they were getting huge chunks.
I’m not sure what all is coming up for next year, but didn’t the JV team go undefeated. Someone correct me if I’m wrong on that please.
Good luck to the G-Men on getting the big one. You should be the favorites the rest of the year and overwhelming favorites next year.
This gam came down to Grahams offensive and defensive lines were far superior to RV. When you know what’s coming and can’t stop it you just tip your h hat and call them the better team.
note to RV fans. If you are in your 50’s and talking smack to a high school student, you need to grow as some we’re doing.
