I’m not disagreeing with you at all. He goes pretty hard at Pulaski in every sport. IMO, he should probably wait several hours after a particularly poor performance before writing anything. It doesn’t come off well. Especially in the context of this being a game played by children. 

How many teams? Seems like it might be worth driving to VHS if it’s multiple games. 

That’s exactly what it seemed like. GW expected a shot from either at the line or a 15 footer and we’re not expecting them to try to get to the bucket. It’s risky but it paid off for them. You guys should still be insanely optimistic going forward, damn near made the semis in the winners bracket beating two much more regarded teams. Go beat Harlan and keep going.

We will probably get a better understanding of what region 2d will look like after next week. The uva wise tourney has V High, Ridgeview, Union, Lebanon, and Central. Throw in other good teams like honaker and Shelby valley and it will  help everyone understand where they stand in the region.

I’ll take Va High over Ridgeview. RV always schedules weak early, builds up a gaudy record and then falls off. 

In A ball Honaker, Patrick Henry and Chilhowie appear to be the cream of the crop with Grundy probably just below.  Cumberland is down this year-but the Hogo looks strong as ever 

I have a feeling I know who you’re talking about but if I’m correct, that one game was really the only terrible game the kid played. I’m not sure if the player deserved all state but I think all region for sure. 

It is overly influenced by a handful of teams and it is waaaay too biased toward winning teams.  There was a kid on one of the VHSL teams that was completely embarrassed in a playoff game this year but his team went far in the playoffs. 
In the past I've seen really good defensive players get snubbed because they didn't have the stats due to OC's avoiding them.  Happens every year.   I'd love to see how the OCs and DCs vote....take the "Rah, rah" HC out of the equation.  The coordinators know which kids scare them and drive gameplans. 

I am on my way to Florida tomorrow for two weeks and just want to wish you all an early Merry Christmas! I appreciate to commodore of this group. lol okay. Didn’t Radford beat Glenvar by five scores at Glenvar? Yes they did. If Graham got two tries, they’d have had a closer game as well.

When I was in band we played in the final in Lynchburg my sophomore, junior and senior years. They let ALL Richlands band students go first so we could make the game. I believe maybe GW or GC was in the title game one year as well and they let them go first, too. 
 
I don’t see why they stopped doing that for kids who need to get to state title games. If you aren’t gonna change the date of auditions — at least let them go first. 

Agreed. Radford a clear and far #1 then Graham, Union, Riverheads were 2-4. Whoever won the West was gonna be a bad matchup for Riverheads with the run defenses but I think Union, with the athleticism of the QB and on the outside, would be a tougher matchup than Graham who liked to attack between the hashes.

Riverheads is legit, the real deal, but again, they have bypassed being able to be spread out like that year after year. They couldn't avoid it this year. They got caught. That's the difference in Class 1 and 2. Sooner or later, u are going to get spread out at some point.

Riverheads has won a lot the past decade. Always with a measure of class. I guess they aren’t willing to lose with class. This is a pathetic display of class the past few minutes. 

This is what i love seeing. All u can do is run the ball and youre down 32-21 and youre trying the pass the ball and look absolutely silly
