All these people commenting on social media outlets knowing nothing about the backstory. 😂I stand by my comment that Tom Rife will be a legend among HS coaches everywhere whether they voice it publicly or not. 😂 

Man, if actual criminal charges come from a shove or two, he totally should have threw some good punches and whipped his ass. Couple black eyes, busted mouth, loose a few teeth, now that could stop a trash talking dad and make him think twice about running his mouth and approaching the teams bench while a game is going on. I would want more out of my assault charge.

In all seriousness, it's amazing that last year GC only fielded 28 players and bumped that up to 60 this year with a 7-2 record and playing for a District title next Friday night. There are alot of young guys contributing also so these boys may be around for awhile. No matter what happens the rest of the way, I'm tickled to death for those kids, the coaches and the community.

GC winning has to be biggest upset of the night and arguably season so far.

I'm not sure how long they can hang but they're absolutely playing their guts out right now. 

Congrats to GC! I didn't expect a blowout, but I certainly didn't think GC would win.

I think I read Gate City will be at Graham on the 12th.

I saw the team picture from media day and almost fell over. I’m lookin forward to watchin this bunch.
