Well,maybe I just left because I was told to go out and come back and pay when I asked.  I mean waiting for 3 hours between games, go for it .....

Grayson Co did better than I thought! Seriously believed Essex would win something like 41 to 7 or so.

Neither were beating Essex, out ran, played, athleted, etc. Too much too often.  Good season still the same.

Essex played pretty conservative....very few wide runs etc.  I think Jones was content to let his defense just hunker down.   They are not giving up big plays with that speed. I think he put major focus on "not losing the game" as has happended a few previous occassions.  No TO's for Essex correct? ,  and very few penalties.

That's the same way they played last season and lost. I'm guessing Region 1A and probably 1B aren't very disciplined, don't focus on execution, don't do the little things because that's about all Essex does. Not throwing off on them, just that they aren't very creative in terms of scheme, but they do what they do very well. It's obviously worked well for them.

Not a good start for a ball control, slow moving offense. Getting down 14-0 would be catastrophic for them.
