You DON'T like Eastside's helmet?!?!?! That's legit my favorite in the area this year. Love that idea of having the state in the E ala the ETSU logo and having the star where Eastside is.

In case you haven't noticed, two new websites have popped up recently. I have pinned a post at the top of the board with links to each. Nothing is changing here, just adding to the football coverage for Southwest Virginia and Southern West Virginia!! Looking forward to being the "forum" portion of the new "family"! Nice job, guys!!!

Excited to give our fans more coverage. The board says here are still the driving force. We funnel everything back here and pick up most of our content from stuff that happens here. I’m excited to see how much we can grow the board as we find fans out there who may not know this exists!!

With double the enrollment (265 to 524 according to VHSL's website) that Narrows has. Congrats? You win again I guess. SMDH.

Tazewell’s helmets were pretty sweet looking last year!

It always bothered me that the blue on GC's helmets didn't match the blue on their uniforms. This may have something to do with the various shades of blue they were over the years.

Goodness didn't realize that pic would take up the page.....but at least you can see it...lol

After seeing some pics y'all posted I like most all of them. I'd have to say I like the Thomas Walker lid pretty well. Blue and White/Gray is always gonna look good to me tho. Lighting does make it look tan but you know it's gray. VHS new ones are cool too. I have to agree with the GC folks as far as the gray britches. I just don't think they look right. I'm not from GC but to me they just need white pants with their blue jerseys at home. That's my personal preference anyway. I like the opposite for road games tho. Dark britches and white jerseys. Not a fan of all white. All white would be ok for me in a special "white out" game with the whole crowd in white too or something.

I've always thought Graham's were the sharpest around. I know I'm an older dude now, but I'm diggin' the new Bearcat lids. Also like the ones from Tazewell. I don't see GC gettin' blue ones anytime soon. They just got new white ones in this spring from a post that I saw, but we can hope. Also, burn the grey britches!

For real! I loved the new Eastside helmet, it looked awesome.

I agree, Eastside is 1a or b with TW being the other. Tazewell's are nice as well. I like the matte helmets the best. I think VHS would be better if they were the matte helmets that way the claws would pop more. I've always been a fan of Graham's helmets too. I'd like to see GC go back to the blue helmets as well and never wear the black jerseys with gray pants ever again.

The unis are different as well. Coach Crist is going all out with this group of Seniors. The helmets are black with shiny metal flake.

Yes I'm sure it does...that's why I said our numbers are embarrassing this year We don't have a true JV team this year but we have an 8th-9th grade team But I think they only had 7-8 total come out for 8th grade football this year

Very different! Just scrolling on my phone, and seeing the picture I would have never known that was Va High.

Those Eastside helmets are cringe worthy. Nicely done by Tazewell, very different and clean looking. Union’s white helmets are much better looking than the orange ones. But neither look very good. Very different approach for Va High this year. Looks like something Cincy would do. Assuming that’s a grey matte finish for Tomas Walker? Lighting looks weird but man, it’s a nice helmet. I’m burnt out on GC’s white helmets, but the decals are spot on. I’m hoping they go back to blue with white face masks...maybe next year? Wouldn’t mind seeing GC just flip flopping the blue and white. I’d even be a fan of going back to the cursive “Devils” with the pitchfork coming off the D on the left side and the S on the right side. Last year of that was 2008.

Thanks, @Bulldogs52. I'm glad to see the Bearcats change things up a little bit. I have to admit, I'm partial to bulldogs, and when I saw y'alls bulldog outline helmets last year, I marked out a little bit 🤣

Princeton’s new blue helmet is much better than the old white with the paw print imo

This will always be one of my favorite helmets..

People will not recognize VHS with their new helmets. They are COMPLETELY different than anything they've had in the past.
