1. Nobody on this thread mentioned the cleats, except for you. In fact, most people I talk to from Salem about the cleats just shrug their shoulders and say “It is what it is.” I know there are whiners in Salem, but most of the griping about the cleats has come from you. 
2. You respond to every single post that even remotely criticizes VT. 
 
Some guy was running his mouth, then made a post toward UVAO, who put him in his place until you had to start whining about how tired and worn out the material is. Build a bridge. Get over it.

Well there are lots of bodies of water in SWVA, like lakes and rivers, so yeah there would be lots of fish. 
 
Secondly, Burton’s chance to score after the onside kick wasn’t the point. It was a bad call that even the VHSL said shouldn’t have been made. 

I am not blaming anyone but the referees. 
 
The facts are that the controversial should not have been made. There was no reason to flag Burton’s QB for a celebration that never happened. Because the guy tossed the ball to the ref. 
 
And when a team gets robbed on a controversial call, said team becomes bitter toward the team that benefits from it, believing that they got an undeserved chance to win. 
 
That is just how it is.

Fun fact: only two programs have ever beaten Powell Valley twice in one season. Those were Pennington in 1987. Also Gate City in 2003, 2008, and 2009. 
 
For Appalachia , the two programs to do it were Burton in 90, 05, and 06. Then Clintwood in 07. 
 
No team has ever beaten Union twice in same season. But unfortunately, that will probably happen.
