Very high probability that all these young athletes are going to be professional at anything other than football. Let them enjoy their ride, no matter where it ends.  We've all been there but until reality kicks them in the gut, it's their ride.  Dreams of playing ball as long as they can are enough to keep most of them straight so it's a win regardless of D1-NAIA or flag football in community college. 

Folks still focused on the 'D1 or Bust' mentality in the current college athletic landscape are leaving a lot on the table. 
1. D1 schools are not focusing their attention on high school athletes right now unless they are a slam-dunk, 5-star type of specimen. 
2. D2, D3, NAIA, and even the Juco route is not the end of an athletic career. Some folks would be surprised by what it takes to compete at those levels.
3. Not going pro but getting an affordable education close to home is still a great option.

All just depends on Dissibio. Because I’m not going to lie, if he gets as good as he did from sophomore to junior year from now to his senior year, he’s easily the state POY.

Already read online our friend from the 757 area complaining about having to travel to Salem... While I don't disagree with them, I do find their complaints rich.

Ty Martin has an opportunity to at least be a 2X SWD POY, possibly 2X Region POY.

Don't count out the Bluefield Beavers. Huge win over James Monroe recently and the Beavers advance to the WV AA Final 8 against Petersburg. James Monroe's season was abruptly ended by the Beavers. Bluefield is the 3 seed and Petersburg is the 6th seed. If Bluefield wins, they likely get a showdown in the semis against Wyoming East, if W. East wins their quarterfinal game.

Maybe Travis Turner can find a mask to hide his identity, and they'll be the best tag-team partnership seen in some time!

It was only 1 team back when we were in school. Bluefield, Mt. View, Princeton and Beckley had to play with the winner advancing. Of course it was ALWAYS Beckley until Bluefield dropped down from AAA in the '94-'95 season.
