They couldn't avoid it this year. They got caught. That's the difference in Class 1 and 2. Sooner or later, u are going to get spread out at some point. They were strong at the LOS, swarmed on runs and just ate up teams with the elite secondary. I’m super impressed by them. First Radford football title since when? Landen Clark showed today that he is the best player in the state. Riverheads got yards on the ground, but not on those crucial 4th downs, and they never seemed to wear the Radford D-Line down. Escaped with a victory against Glenvar, their district rivals in a rematch. Shut down the dangerous G-Men rush attack. Ended a 7 year championship streak from the Big Red Machine.
