Since the Graham/Tazewell thread is locked will post my thoughts here.
#11, T.J. Rasnick holds a special place in my heart.  To me, he was the epitome of Tazewell football.  I can remember the cold cold snowy day at Bulldog Stadium in 2008 when T.J. and the Dawgs were playing Richlands for the championship.  I was rooting for the Blues, but every time T.J. was involved in a play my heart was rooting for him.
Eleven years ago today, #11 released his earthly bonds,  sickness and pain were no more.  So in honor of my "buddy" I hope the Dawgs can score the win today for #11.

I was disappointed the Blues didn't win.  In my local newspaper this morning they had a picture of Chancellor Harris running down the field after the win.  Seeing the joy on this young man's face took the sting of the loss away.  17 years they waited, a long time.  How some can fault a town wanting to celebrate a win for these young men, I don't understand.  In the story line, Josh Herndon talked about the middle school coach of these young men, and how the Dawgs went undefeated that year.  That coach was Stevie Mitchem, now deceased.  I knew Stevie well, we went to church together.  On Sunday morning during football season, because of my Richlands football ties, he was always ribbing me about the Blues.  I remember his funeral service and a group of young men in their football jerseys.  This was the young men that won yesterday.  I looked back at Stevie's obituary card and saw the date of his funeral was March 11th. Four years and two days after honoring their middle school coach, their dream came true.  If Stevie had been here, he would have been cheering the loudest for these young men.

From a layman's point of viewing watching game on NFHS, it was a defensive game for both teams.  The defenses played well, but the offense sputtered on both sides.  The Falcons have a "beefy" team.  Both teams on offense were running east and west, not north and south.  Both teams favor the run and pass is second option.   When your QB plays both ways in a defensive physical game, your going to wear down.  There was cramping on both sides even on a cold night, and as the announcers said, that is due to conditioning.  IMO, both defenses were even, but Falcons had the edge on offense due to  good field position, at times,  with Central's kicking game. The score in this game, with a few breaks, could have easily been reversed.

I listened to Ron's pregame show this past Saturday.  At 1:00 when live video from NFHL began, it cut off the WGTH feed.  I was going to mute the broadcast on NFHL and listen to Ron.  I tried several times to get WGTH feed back but it would not do it.  I tried Star 95, same thing.  After game ended and I signed off NFHL, I was able to pick up WGTH again.  That was a bummer.  I don't want to not watch live action of NFHL to hear Ron call the game.  What's the solution?  Hopefully, the clock is working this week.

    Ryan, great job!!!
Love seeing the view of the field.  Sat through many games there; nail biters, cold and rainy games, but always cheering for the Blues.  I came to watch  and cheer. Would  be bothered when  players would turn around on a 3rd and close yardage, waving arms to get fans up and cheering. Coach Mance now gone, is bittersweet for me, but will be listening to the Blues games and cheering for the win.  No greater thing to hear as a fan, then Ron Brown saying "put a "W" next to that lighting R."

Listened to game last night between G-Men and Blues, and I thought the Blues held their on with the G-men.
    After 1st Q the score was 10-7 G-Men
At the half the score was 27-23 G-Men
    In the 3rd Q with 2:05 left it was 39-35 G-Men; at end of 3 Q score was 44-36 G-Men
In the 4th Q with 2:26 left in game score was 62-56 G-Men; final score, of course G-Men with a 74-61 win
I have Graves scoring 14 pts in 4th for G-Men.  He was the difference.
